kiwijunglist:BigHammer: 850/1900/2100 is NOT what you'd call Vodafone 'compatible'. If you are on Vodafone, get the UMTS 900/2100 model. The UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz model will not work where Vodafone only has 900MHz 3G coverage, which is quite a chunk of their network.
It still can be used on vodafone network but is not ideal, it would be fine for main centres. This is why I wrote ideally you should use the 900 3G model. I suppose I could of written Limited Vodafone Compatibility.
You really have to stop even saying this, it's simply confusing.
If people haver to ask if a device is compatabile the answer is either YES or NO. Any 50/50 answer is just setting up problems down stream.
(It's a bit like saying you'll only get colour pictures on your Tele in the big cities, but Black and White everywhere else.... But I still recommend you buy one!!! )
