Dear god if I have to wait another full month to receive it I may as well pull the preorder and give up on my dream of owning a smartwatch for the time being. That Nexus 6 is looking pretty good and my dollars might be better spent getting a new phone with better battery life (currently have the Nexus 5).

I am rocking a oneplus one at the moment and the battery life is great :)
I might call into Noels on the way home and see if they can put one on hold with 10% deposit ($40 which is a lot better than them holding $400 if you do it online) but i might have a Microsoft band coming as well so will have to see which turns up first, if that does i will cancel the order again.

So i was able to "pre-order" with a 10% deposit, so them holding $40 is a lot better than holding $400.
They said the standard "we will call you when it gets in"

Just called the supplier again and again they could give me no definite answer other than "will be with you soon".

I understand how frustrating this is for everyone but rest assured the pre-orders will be the first in the country to receive the unit from an official nz supplier.

Some other retailers might be parallel importing the watch.

Pre-orders tend to get "first dibs" before stock hits the floor.
However pre-orders may not be in the order of date ordered

i.e. when i did a pre-order on a nexus 7 my friend who also did a few days after me got his before I got the call about mine (I ended up calling them to confirm it was in and got the "oh yes it's here").

Thanks for the update, shame there are no emails sent out to people who are waiting. I emailed customer service last week and have still not received a reply. Slightly off topic, but similar situation, I'm about to cancel a Note 4 pre-order as the date has slipped twice and is currently no ETD !!! I can walk into Spark today and buy one off the shelf.
