bbunnys: Looking at getting a nexus 6 but seem like most are 2 Degree phones.
Anyone know if they will work ok on Vodafone and there 4G network.

The Nexus 6 works fine on Vodafone 4G, HD Voice in tow as well. Colleague in the social team has the XT1100 international variant and loves it.

Looks like google has launched a new online store!

Nexus 6 included. 32gb for $1049 and 64gb for 1099. Although there's a 5-6 week lead time.

Too late, too expensive.  Why didn't Google open up the store to us in the nexus 4 / 5 days.    Maybe the N6 isn't selling so well so we'll open it up to the plebes  in Kiwi land and see how much money we can extract from them....

Well, they'll extract it from me :)

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

Hmm specs don't confirm which model it is. Presume it is the international model but would want confirmation of support for band 28 before ordering.

the US site clearly lists all freqs supported for that model but this site doesn't list the freqs supported under the specs.

Hmm good point. They'd be stupid to sell it here without that support though.

no provision on store.google.com to ask a question, that i can see, so have sent them a "suggestion" that they provide full specs.

Compared to an iPhone 6+ 64GB its a freaking bargain, If Samsung follow Apple's lead and hikes new Galaxy prices up then again it will be a comparative bargain :P

Yea, I've put up with this Note II for nearly 3 years, another month or two isn't going to bother me :)

I've been torn between the N5 and the N6.  The N5 is half the price, but doesn't support band 28 (700 Mhz LTE)

This is going to be next "3 year" phone I own, so I decided it has to 700Mhz LTE capable.

If you get the N5, get a good case. My N5 screen smashed from a small drop. My Z2 which replaced it has been dropped four or five times from greater heights and appears to be bullet proof. I do miss pure android, and timely updates, though.

I'm very much torn over the N6, was just surfing Facebook whilst eating lunch and i saw an article raving about USB Type-C and some reference to Google suggesting "your next Android phone will include the new port". Cue the next Nexus, this might be the one i wait for as it can only be what 6 odd months away from announcement?

All of which made me think, why hasn't Google released a desktop Chrome browser for Android? Let me cast desktop chrome from my phone, it would satisfy about 90% of my desktop needs

Don't know if its been asked before however the prices on Google store are they GST exclusive or inclusive?

This is what I get when trying to order a Nexus 6:

(includes GST $0.00 NZD)
