Does anyone know if "Samsung pay" is being supported by any of the banks?  I don't see the benefit of a smartphone over a wallet - both reside in my pocket.  Paying with my smart watch has some appeal.

 

No Samsung pay in NZ sadly.  The major disadvantage of Google Pay is that the great google in the sky now has all of your payment information to add to it's giant database of information that it already has about you.  I trust Samsung more with my data than Google because Samsung, like Apple, is in the business of making phones, not finding new ways to show you adds and sell stuff to you.
