gehenna: I got a Note 9 about 2 months ago when it was cheap, $950 or something. It’s one of the better phones I’ve owned for sure. I’ll be grabbing one of these I think!

Even the deal NL had a couple of weeks ago for $650 was insanely good, less than half the price I paid at launch ($1399). Maybe get a Note 10 this time next year then haha

Herald article pricing note 10 $1699 and note10+ $1899.

Didn't think too much of specs on unpacked and also after seeing this article samsung changing email to outlook from theirs which i use all the time and don't like outlook. Default cloud storage changing to one might be benefit depending on gbs available as samsung cloud useless. Just have to wait and see what promos come and then decide if worth it.

Ooh those prices. Same price as a semi decent laptop. I always buy the new flagships and the note leads the way in my view, but wow.

The S10 is better value for money over the Note 10, there is not much separating the two and one can argue the higher res screen, expandable memory and headphone jack on the S10 is far better value then the S-pen and an extra 100mAh and cheaper.

It’s a nerfed S10.

The + looks good but I’m not sure it’s worth the launch price seeing as there is a history of gutting the price with these BOGO deals popping up.

My god. $1899 is officially iPhone XS pricing. From what I've seen of the specs of the regular Note 10, who would bother paying $1699 for it when there is the Galaxy S10+ that offers higher res screen, sd card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack AND has had a BOGO deal in the past.

All this to make the Note 10+ at $1899 seem like the better deal ... feels really greasy of Samsung.

The days of me buying the flagship model may very well be over if these prices are to become the norm. With a wide range of great mid range phones from a number of manufacturers (Xiaomi, Oppo etc) and discounting for slightly older models I see no need to outlay North of $1100 prices for minimal difference.

I'd be happy to consider something less flashy or "off" brand if they had  pen experience.

I don’t see any reason to upgrade from anything remotely new there doesn’t appear to be anything significant over any phones over the past few years.

For me the N9 was a very decent upgrade over the N8 and the N9 is something I could keep if I wasn't addicted to the newest flagships.  Other than the odd period of battery not lasting as long as I'd like (which I am guessing is due to some app draining battery more than it should) I can't think of one time where I felt it didn't meet my needs.
