No alert for me either.

The birds here disappeared shortly before it too. I was wondering why!

Good shake here and shaking was quite long. (As confirmed by my Quake Catcher)

I didn't feel it - but I'm on the hills toward Sumner and was walking around in my basement/garage. There are quite a few felt reports in this area, but mainly light or weak.  The only quake alert I got was a text mesage from my SO who was 6 levels up in the CBD.

Was 3.9 and 7km deep, I assume that must have either been just below the google app threshold, or they've fine-tuned it a bit.

It's been getting a workout lately so maybe fine tuning :)

Presumably due to the frequency it's 4s at a minimum. Which is really a 4.6+ on the app :P

It was. Looks to be right on the intersection of Spark Rd and Halswell Junction Rd where you head off to Akaroa, not far from here. Only 3.9 but it was certainly decent

Ah, bit more variable than I thought, but still pretty good data

This Quake set off the Alert (first time I've seen it), it got the location very wrong however and came up about 5 seconds after the shaking stopped.

It placed the Quake some distance out to sea off Kaikoura and estimated it around mag 6.

Suprised how good this was. Sitting here in Taranaki and saw the alert come through (for this) and picked up the phone. Next second (not quite nek minnit), I feel the desk have a bit of a light shake. #winning

Got the notification on both my personal phone (Pixel 5) and work (Samsung A32) although I was away from my desk at the time so didn't hear any alarms (felt bad for my work colleagues when I got back 😅)

Apparently so distant in peoples minds, they needed to do a red bulletin article on it again

Yeah myself and many of my colleagues at work got the alert. Some received it about 10-20 seconds before we felt it in Palmy North, I got the alert maybe 3 seconds before (if that).

I was on the 6th floor of Hutt Hospital and felt a buzz in my pocket then a gentle rolling of the building. The buzz and rolling seemed very close.
