I ended up getting the s20 FE yesterday instead of the A52s 5g, mainly because the a52s doesn't have wireless charging and we have wireless chargers at home already.

The s20 FE seems pretty popular at this price, available stock was vanishing on the website.

Bought one of these for the wife yesterday.  Mine is still coming.  Nice phone and fairly eazy to setup but who was the idiot at Samsung that devised the crappy  method of turning off the phone.

All phones I had  / seen you just press the power button and it either shuts down or a shutdown menu comes up.  Which idiot thought it would be a good idea to make you press the power and the volume down buttons at the same time to get the power off menu??

Just change the behaviour in the settings. I've set mine like the following

I'll have a look but at a glance I couldn't see anything.  Looked online but only found the Power and Vol Down method.

When I set my one up yesterday I was quite impressed with the Samsung Smart Switch app which just sucked all the apps, setting and files from my old Motorola phone.

One thing I'm not sure about.  I'm on Skinny and my wife's on Spark and neither of use see VoLTE icon only 4G if we're lucky even in a good coverage area.    However I do see VoLTE on my 2 Degrees SIM along with VoWiFi on 2D

I'm sure that  VoLTE should work here in Morrinsville.   Skinny is my primary SIM and 2D a secondary.   WiFi calling on 2D seems to work  very well.  Pity Spark doesn't get their act together and support it.

Generally now I'm getting used to the phone I like it  and money well spent even though  PB Tech dropped the price $110 for Black Friday after I had bought it from Spark.  Oh well you can't win them all.

Haha same thing happened to me with the discount & the VoLTE. The VoLTE should enable itself after a week or two.

Well it's been a week or two  and still no VoLTE icon on my phone with a Skinny SIM and the wife's using a Spark SIM.  VoLTE  and VoWiFi showed up on my 2D SIM as soon as I powered on the phone with their SIM in.

Haven't had any updates to either phone.
