Pretty sure there are methods to go back, though it's not as simple as a factory reset. That said, it's pretty straightforward and the XDA forums are generally very helpful.

Getting the USB drivers installed on my PC was the most difficult part (both getting the right drivers, and then booting into a special mode of Windows I didn't even know existed!).
