Linux:

MaxineN: External partner store.

Your work may give you access to it.

@MaxineN Then it should be EPS

The real name is External Partners Portal (EPP)

So I ended up going down the Samsungs EPP route this time (seems to have the best deal for the phone itself).  A couple of PBtech ones look ok (bummer i purchased the same air fryer a couple of weeks ago).

Was able to get s23 ultra 512gb / 12gb ram

Leather case

Screen protector

65w adapter tiro

2 x galaxy smart tags+

Total was $1987.  So happy with that.

Just wanted to point out also if you have access to the EPP there is a stackable deal going on where you can get up to  50% off watches and buds (finishes 17th feb).

Do you know if the 36 months interest free that Samsung offers includes additional accessories purchased at the same time? Or just the phone?

Pre-ordered the 512GB 12GB S23 Ultra variant. Should be fun going back to OneUI.

Will also get to finally separate things.

Current Note 20 Ultra 5g owner here.  I would hang on for another year but it appears my camera is bust so trying to work out the value of the vs a second hand S22.  Does anyone know if you can stack the 2 degrees $600 trade in boost with the PB tech deals?

I seriously doubt it.

I'd ask them rather than accepting what's being written here if I was you. They do offer the 2degrees tradein deal and I can't see it excluded in the bundle T&Cs but I guess it'll depend what stock they have.

Terrible battery life

As someone who has owned every flagship Samsung smartphone, and many other brands as well, I can tell you that that comment is totally incorrect.

I am an extremely heavy user and the battery life on the S22 Ultra is as good as any phone I've owned or better.

Hi all. My partner has EPP through her work, so bit the bullet and have pre-ordered the 1TB Ultra. Figured that since I don't buy coffees every day, and I use the phone for everything, and tend to keep until they're no longer supported, it's only @2.20 a day over three years (assuming zero residual value, and not counting the credit card rewards).

I know that many won't have access to the EPP, but Kiwiwallet has just announced a 5% cashback. It's for the official Samsung store, and the $250 e-voucher still applies, plus rewards etc: https://www.kiwiwallet.co.nz/raf/t2eHt8G

[The link is my referral link - hope that's OK - otherwise just go to their main site and you'll see the deal].

Cheers!

You would think it would be as simple as asking a sales person but it wasn't. I went into PB tech Hornby:

Does the S23 Ultra come with the $600 trade in boost if I buy it here? - blank stare.

Can I still charge this to my 2 degrees account? - blank stare.

I abandoned that and went to PB tech Central Chch:

Does the S23 Ultra come with the $600 trade in boost if I buy it here? - Yes if you order it through us on the 2 degrees finance

Can I still charge this to my 2 degrees account? - Of course.

So I ended up with the 256gb / 8gb green model + a free smart tag and scooter.  I was tempted to get the upgrade as I am coming from a Note 20 with 12gb of ram but I really didn't want to spend the extra coin.

It worked out like this

Phone - $2300

Free scooter - Hoping for $600 on trade me for it.

Smart tag - the value of not losing your keys which is priceless.

Trade in - I have a old iphone 7 thats suddenly worth $650

Reselling my old phone - hoping for $600 for the note 20 ultra 5g.

If all that works out it's $2300 - $1850 = $450 which is not a bad cost of change over.

I still had the receipt from the Note 20 that I brought in 2020.

It was also $2300 buy they gave me an instant $200 off for buying it on 2 degrees finance.

You used to have to be on the 2 degrees $40 a month plan, now it's the $60 plan.

The old trade in boost was $300.

The specials were different, I would guess about the same value.  The scooter is a good freebee, better than headphones or whatever.

Agreed, totally false.

I see the S23 Ultra and the overall S23 series phones have some amazing battery life so it will be epic.

Nice one! Now tell me, how come you didn't go in for the 2D boost trade-in if it was available?
