This is where and how Apple's exclusive vendor strategy has hurt them.....particularly in also deciding to ignore CDMA providers.
Sure....CDMA is dying but there are still over 200 million people on CDMA networks. Those providers have gone Android HUGELY....and have been selling heaps.
Then add on the GSM networks who also can't sell iPhone...and that's a LOT of people and network operators who have every incentive to get behind another option for their users.
oxnsox: Androids wide selection of manufacturers, model variants and Network operators has seen better pricing competition across all markets. (Though I suspect the handset margins aren't as good for the vendors.)
