I ordered mine on a plan over the phone. I never got an email after but I did get a text about the change of plan and the $29 fee being paid.

Pretty disappointed that I didn't get an email today. Called 2d and apparently my order has been dispatched, but not in the tracking system yet - so I guess I just have to wait.   cry  Hopefully tomorrow. It's strange how it's always the same - deliveries like this never seem to meet expectations. You try not to get too excited, because experience tells you that there's bound to be a problem somewhere along the line. But you can't help it - and then you get let down and have to reset your expectations.

I don't want to get down on 2d because they've given us a hang of a deal with a real sweetener on top, but you'd think that if you were going to offer a deal to a group such as Geekzone that is focussed around a forum, you'd do everything in your power to make sure all of the orders were spot on and they all got dispatched together. You'd just have to know that as soon as someone gets some news, they're going to post about it and then you've got a whole pile of unhappy people wondering why they've been left out and what has gone wrong.

Hang in there FazerDude, I'm sure it won't be far away. Had mine dispatched today so I am very happy with the service, although I did place the order on Thursday night right after I received the email.

Phoned again. My order is marked as ready to ship, but the chap couldn't see when it would. He also could not see the stock levels, and sales are going to phone me back tomorrow.

I agree with this. Don't get me wrong, the deal is awesome, but something has gone wrong along the lines. Lets hope next time (if there is one) things go more smoothly :)

There's a tension between offering a cutting edge deal (it's just in the country, be the first to get it!) and allowing some buffer in case of unforeseen eventualities (and Kyle the Courier wanting a pallet of Nexus phones).

EDIT: Whoops, wrong K for the courier

In their post the other day @2degreesCare said that they had confirmed that there was adequate stock for all the potential orders on our list. So I don't expect there to be a supply problem.

I agree as well - I'm just impatient when it comes to shiny new gadgets. Fully appreciate all that 2D etc... have done for us on this one.

Heh, all you guys posting about the arduous wait for the 64GB.

Meanwhile, those of us twiddling our thumbs waiting for the 128GB are truly suffering. SUFFERING. I think I have a problem.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

Have you thought about just buying two 64GB phones and strapping them back to back?

Would also solve the annoying lack of dual sim, but charging becomes impractical and it would be hard to tell which had vibrated.

it would seem that they have a dual sim socket just a single sim tray. Im guessing its also locked out in software.
