What did you call about? I rang the mobile department but didn't get the offer.

I called about a bug on the EPP shopping cart where I couldn't remove an item from it and also an update on my S22U pre-order.

The rep couldn't help me with either queries so he said he will get these looked into for me.

My pre-order falls under the second batch with shipping start date being 2 March so was trying to find out if it will likely ship a day or two earlier.

Haha, called them three times, not meant to be!

Anyone who doesn't need the code I would be grateful to use it 😃

Batman: Ordered on 14/2. I might be in the second batch :(

Yup, my second order was put through on the 14th, see email from them below:

NZ220211-13XXXXXX – S22 units for this order will start shipping on 24.02

NZ220214-15XXXXXX – while this is included on the second batch of pre orders that will start the dispatch on 02.03

My order from the 14th just arrived, S22U Green 512GB. I was initially told this will be a second batch delivery, but glad to have it early. It arrived with a charger that I've ordered on Friday, the 25th, which changed status and was shipped the same day.

On the other hand, my order from 11th Feb has still not even changed status on the website.

How does the green look? I hear it looks better than the images online.

I actually cited that I'd heard they were offering these online, but I had a big old rant and said I'd drop my complaints about the estore and he doesn't even need to talk to them if I could have one, guy probably did it to get me off the phone having seen how much of his colleagues and managers time I took up trying to resolve my problems with the store staff.

Still waiting for it to actually turn up but here's hoping. Part of me still hope my original order ships but Samsung seem so confused by the entire thing with their systems saying it's processing and cancelled at the same time. I'm not going to be on my fifth attempt at ordering the blasted thing and will have to return the products they gave me in store to get that refund issued.

It's awesome, a different shade depending on which angle you're looking at it.

Sadly though, when I've opened the box, I've noticed that the lens cover of the centre camera was actually sticking out.

I've pushed it in but not sure I'd trust the waterproofness of this device now.

heavenlywild: Oh man, I'm wondering if I should get the green colour. My order should ship by the end of the week but if I change colour it'll be another 2 week wait... first world problems!

I really really want the Green one, but there is less stock and I didn't want a delay in shipping.

So those 10% codes stacking makes for some interesting combinations. Seemingly you get 10% off, then the $300/$500 voucher is applied to accessories and then inflated rewards also applies to the buds and watches.

Anyone considering using one I'd highly recommend playing with bundles and packs, you might be able to sneak a charger in at a significantly reduced price if you just dump it in when you've spent the $300. I just ordered the 256 + model with buds 2, charger and protective case for $1402 so I'm now pretty happy and won't be contacting Samsung's customer care again about my problems in my old order now I've saved $100.

An update, I've noticed dust specs within the camera lens. Wish me luck while I try to fight Samsung on this, Let's hope I don't have to go through the whole 'assessment and repair' process and rather they replace it entirely.

Won't they ask for photos showing the impact of the dust on the photos? I think that's the criteria for them doing something about dust under lenses (That was a number of years ago).

YMMV

I'd certainly be insisting on replacement IF it's deemed a fault.

Yes seems to have no impact the eye can see. I've even tried pointing it at different levels of light and directly at light to find if there would be distortion/lens flare. Doesn't seem like it.

You reckon I should just live with it?

It's irritating though knowing the lens was out, and worrying about it falling off in future, at which stage they may even charge for repairs.
