The whitestone is a glass screen. I have never used it but have used some of the liquid ones before, only issue with the liquid ones are you don't know if its really working :P

Currently i am just using the pre-installed one on my note 10.

Hey folks, a bit late to the party. Debating if I should purchase the Samsung Note 10, not the Note 10+, just the note. I see Noel Leeming has it right now for $1200 and I'm very tempted, surely it's worth it at that price? I note the Samsung Galaxy S10 is the same price, with half the storage though.

I'd be upgrading from OnePlus 3T, so a decent upgrade, but looking for some advice/info about it.

As a Note 10 owner - it's definitely not worth it. There are better devices out there for the price. And even if there aren't - the Note 10 still isn't worth it. :)

Depends on what you're after really. On the one hand you get ridiculously poor battery life, unremarkable screen, average camera, really fickle fingerprint sensor, and touchscreen sensitivity issues. On the other - you get the S-Pen which works really well but gets rarely used (for me anyway). So if it's all about the S-pen for you - go for the Note 10.

KooKoo, sounds like you have a bad experience, but I would say I don't have ANY of those issues. I don't like the in-screen fingerprinter reader for it's location, but it's quick and works, screen is fine, touchscreen works great, I play game and never have issues I can recall.

The S-Pen is the biggest drawcard, but that's obvious if you are even considering a note.

It's glass that's is glued on then the glue is cured with avuv light. The standard recommendation is to buy the cheaper knock offs from ali express. They have the same flaws but are cheaper. I have some in a box but to scared to do the gluing process.

This is my first device with a screen protector, and it has more scratches on it, than any device I've ever owned before. I feel I have been very careful with it, and still it's smashed up, is that normal?

Also, I noticed today, that the side is coming loose unfortunately. I imagine there is no chance they will replace the protector under warranty, and if that's the case, is there an easy to replace but very good protector people are recommending now?

I replaced my screen protector a while back. The original one got scratched by a plastic button on my shirt pocket, I've since removed the button for each of my work shirts. Then the bottom right corner came loose. I didn't want a glass protector because they are thin glass that can break and they aren't cheap. I've gone with a TPU film protector that is fairly cheap to replace as necessary. It isn't perfect - getting in installed takes a little patience and my first attempt was less than satisfactory, my second attempt worked much better. The supplied spray for wetting the film & screen didn't last, I used it all up on the first installation. I used a 50/50 mixed of Isopropyl alcohol & water for the second try and that worked fine. There is a little more drag when using the pen with this screen saver, but it isn't too bad.

Despite the minor drawbacks I feel like the protection offered is worthwhile and the price was cheap enough that I was OK with buying 2 of the 2-packs of these protectors.

Yes. Peels off like any protector. Can leave some gummy gel that you can just wipe off.

Just recieved this re Android 10 update in member app so looks like bit of wait still even S10 same February perhaps will come earlier but don't know, Germany already got this update on S10.

Been using on my Note 10 plus Android 10 UI2 beta for last week and yesterday updated to stable beta which will be final release as I just can't wait until February for Samsung and telcos to update.

Smooth animations are great, Bluetooth headphones just work fine, camera seems to be ok new layout, you tube ok and spen all seems to be ok.

Good lock still not updated so not a lot able to do as i use this a lot and edge notifications with edge lighting fix still works great also new setting to flash screen if notification which at this stage doesn't work when screen locked and can't find how to update in edge lighting fix app.

Google play still not sure if certified so can't do all updates and just seen now catastrophe with chrome update been stopped which i thought was just a bug in play store as on beta.

Galaxy wearable app with my galaxy watch still works fine and haven't seen any problems. Bixby Routines still work good but smart lock a bit erratic and not work all the time so have to use fingerprint scanner which still works great.
All settings are different,device care battery usage better stats now but a bit hard to read as doesn't show how long been on battery since charge and battery
life seems to be better.

Overall a really good experience with this update so hopefully things get better can't see much difference in UI 2

Christmas present to myself this year was a Note 10! Currently have the factory silicone case and screen protector.

So what is the recommendation for a screen protector for a Note 10?

I've used a wallet case for so long but love the feel of this phone so dont want to ruin it with a wallet case. So any recommendations for a case that has maybe a card slot in the back?
