Yes seems to have no impact the eye can see. I've even tried pointing it at different levels of light and directly at light to find if there would be distortion/lens flare. Doesn't seem like it.

 

You reckon I should just live with it?

 

It's irritating though knowing the lens was out, and worrying about it falling off in future, at which stage they may even charge for repairs.

 

 

Whoops, I forgot about the Lens falling out, yes I would insist on a replacement.

Wait what!? How is that even possible for the lens to just fall out?

 

As to dust, if they are inside the lens I'd be worried how exactly they got there and if there is risk of getting more in the future. Sorry to hear that mate, not the kind of hassle you want from a brand new toy!

Out of the box, the camera glass, was not entirely fixed, I've pushed it back in. I suspect this caused the dust ingress. Not lens sorry, camera glasss.

Online store chat tells me that β€œthere is an advisory about a delay with certain S22 Series model. Orders are still being processed and email communications will be sent to affected orders.”

I’m waiting on a white S22 128gb.

interestingly i was having trouble loading my account page on samsung's website, and eventually when it loaded i briefly saw my order showing as "preparing for dispatch"

 

that was the last time i was able to see my order as now my account page says i have no orders under my account

My S22 128gb ordered on 17 Feb changed today to "Preparing Dispatch".

 

Like mentioned earlier in the thread, I tried calling Samsung support, and using their online chat, to get updates, but never got the 10% discount voucher offer.

Same for mine still (10th Feb order) 😒 (I guess the 24th shipping date was a touch optimistic).

The wait is also making me second guess my choice and wonder if I want to cancel and switch to the S22 to get a more one-handable device (could even get an s-pen...).

Any feedback from S22U owners who've come from a smaller device? (I'm coming from an S8 that's lasted way longer than expected, but I've enjoyed notes and other bigger devices before that).

Got an email from PBTech showing they are waiting on stock. I think it's just an automated thing they do after x days. Still showing as expecting to ship 4/3 but I am a bit worried as NZ Couriers have basically shutdown with half their staff isolating. 

 

If anyone gets a Green 256GB/12GB one and decide they'd rather have black, I'll take it off your hands for a straight swap :)

So my orders:

14/2 for an S22 is packing
14/2 for an S22+ still says processing for 2/3 but has apparently been cancelled
28/2 for an S22+ says processing but seems to think it'll be here tomorrow
S22+ in store, who knows, whenever they tell me it's in. But I'm cancelling that to keep the 28/2 order as it was cheaper.

Again not entirely sure what their store is doing, it said dispatch on 10/3 when I started ordering then when I finished it said 2/3. So anyone's guess when I'm getting it. Guess it comes when it comes, annoying my partners going to have her shiny new toy if her's comes tomorrow and I'll just sit watching enviously. Hopefully the awkward middle child isn't too popular so might get some stock in sooner rather than later.

"NZ220211-XXXXXX36 – there are delays with the phone cover stock for the S22, hence they are delaying the shipment of the phones being sent out. The next batch of shipment is due to be shipped out soon, upon the arrival on the phone covers and the bundle sets if you had selected those."

 

 

 

Looks like bundles and accessories are causing some of the delays. This order of mine does not include any bundle as it was ordered through the EPP store, but it does include a free leather cover.

Hah! If that's the case then I definitely regret throwing a couple of cases into my order to fill up the accessory budget...

 

It would at least explain the delay -- it's also totally understandable given how much of a pain shipping is right now (some more communication from Samsung would be nice though)
