How do you S24U users who upgraded from the S22U feel about the cameras on the S24U? Is there much of a difference? What would you say is better & worse? Seen quite a few discussions of the S23U vs the S24U in terms of the camera, but not so much about the S22U vs the S24U. Thanks. :)

The S24U cameras are quite a let down. There is meant to be a huge camera update coming in August to address a lot of the issues.

I'd agree with this. The S23U was much better, and I can still see the difference every day between the photos I take on my S24U, and the ones my wife takes with the S23U she inherited from me.

Is it that bad? Luckily I decided against upgrading my S23U. I must say the S23U still takes some amazing photos and there is no hint of a slow down.

Hope the August update makes a positive difference to the S24U.

I had the S22U. Both the S23U and S24U are better than S22U in my experience, with the S23U beating both. YMMV

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

That's not an optical 10x, its just a crop of the 5x as there is no 10x lens any more (they put in a 3x lens for the portrait/streamers instead). So yes you can push the 10x button but that's effectively a fake button now.

Yeah I agree the 10x optical on the S23U was a great thing, no idea why they ditched it.

Pushed back to August. Though according to ice universe they've gimped it and won't support telephoto anymore.

Glad I dropped mine for a Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Samsung are losing their way
