coolcat21: Will you guys be selling the accessories too ?

Yes, but covers etc may not be available until next week.
Can you confirm USB OTG support?  This was broken in the Nexus 4.

It's not supported.

if 2degrees got 32G~ i 100% go for 2degrees......but they dont...because there is no expandable memory so i perfor 32G.
AHHHHHHHHHHHH~HELP ! $100 more for 32G but 1 year warranty plus free car charger.....,or $100 less for 16G and 2year warranty ....

hey 2degreescare bro could you show me the warranty detail for 2degrees LG Nexus 5 16G? thx!!!!
It'll be covered by a 2 year manufacturers warranty from LG. If anything goes wrong we'll get it sent off.  Only if it's assessed as 'user damaged' will you need to pay for repairs.

Cheers

Cool thanks. Will it be official lg or google covers ? and available on all 2degrees store ?

Arrrghhh!  That'll be a deal-breaker for quite a few, I suspect.

it does support USB OTG you just need to use an app like stickmount or nexus media importer

So, out-of-the-box, with the standard software, it doesn't then?
I posted earlier with my specific issue, but I'll repeat it in summary here.  To use some DSLR controller apps requires OTG support, even if the connection is via wifi!  The lack of this in the Nexus 4 means I'm stuck with Canon's app, which works (somehow - maybe by implementing itself the functionality missing from the phone firmware), but it lacks an important feature available in other apps: histograms.  A 3rd party app that allow access to media via USB (implementing USB OTG after a fashion) is unlikely also to provide the hooks necessary for a camera app to connect via wifi.

How wifi and OTG support in the phone firmware got entangled I don't know, but if the same approach has been taken with the N5 as the N4, even if the ability to supply adequate current has been addressed, it doesn't look promising for the use of such controller apps on the N5.

As before, if anyone with an N5 and a Canon or Nikon DSLR with Wifi capability could report on the compatibility of the DSLR Controller and DSLR Dashboard apps, I'd be much obliged.

Oh.....

I herd I had to change my credit card address to match my YouShop address.
But the order cancellation email is implying they also called YouShop in the US; (503) 7365910.
As that is the phone number I used.
Did anyone have this problem too?

This is a result of your bank not verifying the charge to your card (mismatching address) rather than anything on youshop's end.

If you don't list the value honestly and then get caught, is there like an additional fee you have to pay? or can you just play a innocent 'I didn't know' card?
I think the screening rate (i.e. chance of getting caught) is like 1 in 10 parcels if you don't declare the value.

I had many failed attempts with the same outcome as you until I got a Loaded For Travel card from Kiwibank (free with one percent commission on deposits) I would recommend it for sure.  I used the Youshop phone number and address and still managed to purchase an N5.

Last year I purchased and N4 using my ASB CC successfully but this year no luck until I used this card.  An alternative would be to get a virtual US CC entropay.com which is free to set up but their rates are higher.  With the Loaded for travel card yoiu can have up to 12 different currencies (or wallets as they call them) but I didn't bother with that I only use NZD.  Google Play was happy with this

"There are heavy penalties for concealing dutiable goods from Customs and for making false declarations.

When purchasing expensive items overseas, such as jewellery and electronic equipment, you may be offered a false receipt showing a lower purchase price. This is intended as a way to reduce Customs charges. Do not succumb to these temptations.

Concealment of dutiable goods and the presentation of false documentation are serious offences which may result in the seizure of the articles and substantial penalties. You may also be criminally prosecuted."
