Mine updated a few days ago, here are the details:
Android Version: 3.2.1
GPS Version: V5.5.8
Wi-Fi Version: V5.2.65

Asus tend to roll out updates by serial number. Mine is a very early B5O so I normally get the updates quite quickly, if you're a B6O or later it should be coming out soon!!

p.s., havent noticed anything on battery drain but I was pretty happy with it before. I used the built in disable wireless on screen inactive and that works pretty well for me.

I just flashed the Prime v2.10 rom which is based on the latest update and now I can't redownload all of my apps from market (well, mainly Titanium Backup key) as it thinks I need to repurchase them ><

I had trouble getting OTAs after changing the SKU to WW on my device using an NVFLASH backup from http://tabletroms.com/forums/transformer-rom-development/1071-asus-transformer-nvflash-stock-3-1-stock-3-2-recovery-roms-unbricking-tools.html (long story - basically I bricked my transformer whilst trying to root it and NVFLASH was the only way to recover, but there was no TW ROM available). Not entirely sure why - while I was in holiday in Hong Kong I got the 8.6.5.13 OTA notification but didn't want to lose root, and when I got back in NZ I got the dreaded "there is no update for your device" message when checking for an update.

I have subsequently fixed this issue (with only a minor hiccup - turns out Titanium Backup defaults to the internal SD - doh!) by flashing the official TW SKU back onto the device following these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1093403

After the update was complete, immediately on connecting to wifi I got the OTA notification and it applied successfully. My vague understanding is that the 'staggered update' theory is incorrect - the OTA is pushed to all devices with the same SKU in the same region at the same time. If it doesn't work, then there is something preventing the OTA (e.g. custom kernel, or in my case possibly a SKU conflict of some sort).

To clarify - I received 8.6.5.13 OTA notification in Hong Kong but was unable to update when back in New Zealand and updated manually using files from ASUS FTP and the microSD method. I was unable to receive the 8.6.5.18 OTA until I changed the SKU back to original upon which the OTA was pushed immediately.

Hi,

I still haven't had mine, despite trying the manual "check for update" thing. Currently sitting on 8.6.5.13.
My Transformer was bought through amazon.com (US) and its s/n starts with B50.

The keyboard dock is a B70 and was bought in PB Tech Penrose.

Any thoughts?

Weird. I got my B5O from Amazon too and no problem getting updates.

I'd leave it sitting around for a few hours with WiFi turned on. Make sure its not set to disable wifi when the screen goes off. If that doesnt work you could try what Kevin suggests and flash it manually, if you're not comfortable doing that maybe get in touch with ASUS. When I had a problem with the battery draining on the dock while powered off (a hardware problem with the B4O and early B5O) they were really helpful.

Yes, I have set the wifi to turn off when closed. I'll undo that...
Also, as far as I know, I never had any issue with updates before.

My pad is rooted. I don't have any update either. In the past when others have mentioned an update being available I'd also find the update available to me without having to go searching manually for it. Guess I'll have to be patient too

I doubt you'd get much for the Transformer 1, and a new prime will probably cost more like $800-$900 from retail stores here. Given how little processing power most Android apps need I don't see that quad core is needed. Given my usage I don't expect battery life will increase much either.

I'll wait for the V3, or perhaps i'll go to a Samsung, which are lighter.

I have been holding out to get the new Transformer Prime, but I was bitterly disappointed to find out there won't be a 3g version. :(

Might have to source a 1st gen 3g Transformer (TF101G) from taiwan via ebay.
For me 3g is essential, and willing to pay for it, so not sure why asus isn't offering this in the new prime.
Yes I know you can tether a phone to the transformer, and use data via your phone, but I would much prefer to just run 1 device at a time.

I suspect most people would prefer to only pay for one data connection. My phone doesn't do WiFi though, so I have a MiFi.
