Getting February security update in February was quite novel.

If anyone is interested, I have just been into JB HiFi to preorder Galaxy S20+ (free buds+, $200 voucher and $200 off on 2Deg contract), and they have a special on Note 10+ for $1299.00

Was very tempted to cancel my pre-order (saw the note 10 deal as walking out the door), and to buy the Note 10+ at that price.

Any idea how long this offer is on for? It’s still showing $1688 on their website.

Cheers

I only heard of good lock yesterday, looks powerful, but usually I find these things annoying more than useful.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

It's really good.  But nowhere near as good as the Quick Tools feature of One Hand Operation+

I am still finding the gestures with Samsung not quite good. The main one is getting to my task manager.

I really like my upward swipe to get rid of the existing window, but the swipe and hold is very hit and miss for me.

Install One Handed Operation+ and Good Lock and a few other tweaks and you'll get it working exactly how you want.  Nova Launcher is also excellent and has some great UI tweaks.

Good lock is definitely useful and it's a Samsung app so integrates perfectly with the OS.  It's a whole family of apps that add extra features to the OS.  I uninstall the ones I don't use but I highly recommend Audio Assistant, One handed Operation+ (might not be needed on Android 10) and I think I use the one that customises the status bar icons as well.

Quick star has change clock position and change visibility of indicator icons which is very good plus task changer few nice parts in there but starting to not work to well.
I used to use Navstar all the time but now gestures so not needed, and Notistar used a few times but not many advantages for notifications.I use nice catch a lot as can find out a lot of info especially ads coming through and any settings being changed and also call history changes.Edge Lighting + i use in conjunction with Edge lighting fix and really good for notifications and sound assistant i haven't had chance to use yet. One handed operation+ i haven't been able to get used to as just seems another app to change gestures and starts to get too complicated and can't get this to reduce screen size for one handed operation. Overall Good lock has got a good set apps and seems to be testing for inclusion in Samsung UI as previously routines used to be in this suite but is now in Bixby and i use all the time.

Tried S20 Ultra today and surprised how easy to use power and volume keys were to use on the right side(i'm Right handed) as opposed to note 10 plus buttons on left
which i'm used to now.

I don't know if it was different with the S10, but they wouldn't stack any further discount onto it with the 2degrees signup deal.

Maybe you will have more luck with the Note10.
