Are you talking about the download's folder where, your downloaded files go?

Mine is still on my swipe up screen above gallery

Or you could open the "My Files" App, scroll down to internal storage, and then long press downloads, select more at the bottom right then "add to home screen"

No, I'm talking about all the downloaded apps.

Previously on the S24 (before an update earlier this year) and currently on the Galaxy Tab S6 you can swipe up on the Home screen to access all the downloaded apps. From there with a long press on the icon you get the option of having that app on the Home screen.

On the S24 I cannot find a way to access where all the apps are to be able to move an app to the home screen.

With the S24 there is no straight forward way I can find to be able to open any app that isn't on a Home screen. So any app you have downloaded but is not on a Home screen can only be opened by

  1. Settings
  2. Apps
  3. Long Press on Icon
  4. Choose Open from actions at bottom of window.

How are you supposed to access the apps not on one of the Home screens?

settings > home screen > Home screen layout > then select home and app screen. This has a home screen where you can put things and swipe up with all your apps listed.

Or home screen which is one main screen and second third etc screens (swipe left) where you can put things.

Thanks. We discovered that about 20 minutes ago. All sorted now.

How it got set to just the Home Only I have no idea. It's not my phone so I cannot vouch for what might have got us into this situation.

I suggested selecting the Lock Home Screen Layout option as a way to stop the issue in the future.

Weird considering home and app screen is the default, so i would say someone has changed it.

That's my guess too, though I don’t think suggesting that might have occurred is a good idea in this case. 🤔

For me will be waiting for bugs to all iron out as from beta 1 taken nearly 4 months and up to beta 5 now so wont be updating straight away. One UI 7 does look good with a lot of improvements but will wait and see what happens with other people when released then decide when to update.

According to a link I found there is no beta program required for the 7 April release.

OneUI 7.0 halted for S24 series due to discovery of critical bugs 🙄:

All that testing and delays down the drain.
