New Firmware update landed, I think. Just got the notification. 236MB download in progress. Any idea what this is? N910UVNZ1BOE1.

Looks like it's just general stability/performance updates. Android 5.1 is expected by end of July.

New firmware installed but still at 5.0.1 ???

just under 2Gb firmware??? I'll do a factory reset when back home, but unsure what it could have been.

Just wondering how people are finding the battery life over the last week - for some reason, my note has been draining battery quite a lot over this week. I suspect it might be a rogue app or something - just wanted to check if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Ive had it getting warmer than it should and go down 20% in an hour a few times recently. Just reboot itwhen I notice it and it stops.

There was a big topic about snapchat destroying everyone's batteries on reddit a couple days ago?

I had a feeling it might be snapchat - time to uninstall and test.

Just saw that the Sprint version of Note 4 is receiving 5.1.1.

Too early to get anywhere near excited about 5.1.1 for us here. But at least its a start.

The issue did indeed turn out to be snapchat. They have updated it, but still chews a bit of battery. Ahh I would completely remove it, but then I lose a major communication channel with some of my friends.

Apparently this issue is not on iOS - one of the times I am glad that Apple has a garden wall around its ecosystem. Apps seem to be very well behaved in Apple's backyard.

Got a quick question for any ex-android users on this thread - has anyone switched over from Android to iOS recently? In particular, going from Note 4 to an iPhone. What are the caveats - things you miss about the Note, or are you really happy and not looking back?
