After update to One UI 8.5 i couldn't make calls or text and had to restart phone to work, same Sunday night did automatic restart overnight then Monday morning same not make calls and text restarted all ok. Hope this update fixed it, am starting to look at upgrade for phone as prior to updates sound was turning off and didn't know got calls or text don't know what problem is.

I had this, mine turned out to be the interaction between my Galaxy watch 7 and my phone. Played round for a while with both and got it sorted.

Yes maybe problem with calls and text not working as use Amazfit watch with Zepp app which had big update Monday morning and wasn't working correctly at first. But with phone turning sound off, don't know as prior to updates and also some apps were slow to load with green lines through main one i remember was Kiwibank widget and looks like time to upgrade phone.
