stevenz: Worth holding out for the LTE version? It looks like it's a superset device, n7100 with LTE support added and no obvious sacrifices.

As we don't yet have a 4G network, is there any point really? You would essentially be paying for something that you wouldn't be able to use in NZ.

Until the network is available, and then I'll be up and running from day one without the need to purchase another new phone.

This is assuming that the network is compatible obviously.

And also assuming the data allowance and costs are reasonable, which in my own opinion, won't be. By the time it is, Note 4 or 5 would be out Tongue Out

Don't think so. That's one thing I miss having moved from HTC a year or so.

I stand corrected. That's sweet, even more reason to upgrade from the original Note!

Plus the Note II supports DC-HSDPA (dual carrier) which telecom and voda have rolled out recently. Theoretical speeds of up to 42MB (in certain areas).

I'll be going with the 7100 also. I rekon LTE won't be too far away though.

Crap, you're right johnr.

I remember reading a thread somewhere that it had it and I was quite excited about it. But after googling the spec list just now, it seems the N7100 doesn't have it!

Maybe the N7105 is the way to go after all.

Okay, I moved to this after a sii, Holly cow its good.

It'll take awhile to get used to the size, but it is so fast.

My only negatives would be touch wiz crashing every half hour and the s pen native app, it's laggy, but papyrus had potential.

I've got to say telecom was great, new sim and transferred over in fifteen minutes.
