Yeah that is a real bummer about MX player. It is the most used app on our nexus 7. Hopefully it won't be too long before MX player is updates.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

JamesL: Mine came this morning but verification must have failed as I'm still on 4.2.2 after clicking Restart and Install. I realise after the fact that I'm running franco kernel so that's probably why

Now my phone thinks its up to date on 4.2.2, Google's OTA process is infuriating

Less infuriating than iOS updates where iTunes dies for 2 days while EVERYBODY downloads the update...

I have not experienced that for years. Who updates via iTunes these days anyway. OTA is more typical.

lchiu7: Got it this morning on my Galaxy Nexus but have resisted installing it yet. This is because my phone is rooted and the last time I did an update, it removed root access and it took me ages to get it back.

Sideloading the latest SuperSU with CWM worked for me.  But unroot your phone before doing an OTA (back it up,too) - last time I OTA'd whilst rooted, it failed hard...

When I went from 4.2 to 4.2.2(?) I was rooted and then lost it. But that was the only issue from the update. Are you saying 4.3 breaks phones that are on 4.2.2 rooted?

I think it was 4.1 to 4.2 or something, since then I have sideloaded my updates

Grrr, still waiting to get it on N4 and N10. Anyone that has it on their N10 and has experience of multiple user accounts? Wanting to give kids access to games I have installed without having to reinstall them for each new account, is that possible?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Just glanced at my N4 and it had a notification that the update was downloaded and is ready to install.

My update arrived around 5pm last night sometime in the 5 minutes I was at home and in WiFi range
Installed this morning and can't seem to see anything that has broken or any of the updates

Came on my wife's N7 last night but I didn't update since nothing is currently broken and I don't want to change that.

My phone just started to download the update now, too bad I won't be home for much longer for it to continue.

4.3 has significant improvements for the Nexus 7, which has very slow memory.  4.3 Includes trim support that should speed up memory performance and prevent it slowing down over time.

I thought general consensus was TRIM support is what was resolving Nexus 7 performance issues - which most people are attributing to slow/degrading storage performance, not memory.
