Many thanks for the link. It's working well on Samsung Tab 2 7 and Note 8.

Thanks for the link.

Can't get this going on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (running CM10), the App starts up well enough but then complains of there being no internet connection when there is one. Don't really use this service often so not too upset about it, I am sure they will release a more widely supported App in good time.

Motorola Atrix 2, rooted with ICS stock rom, starts up fine, plays the first advert, then spinning circles forever and no data up or down,
but the help does say wont work on jail broken devices.

A bit silly TVNZ has limited this app?

I have a galaxy S3 rooted. It works fine on 4.2.2 which was the official leaked Samsung ROM. Once I upgraded to CM 10.2 android 4.3 tonight the spinning wheel arrived. I don't think it is a root issue more of a ROM issue.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

linw: It's really daft. What has TVNZ got to gain by not making this work with everything?

I suspect Samsung paid for it or at least contributed. Still is a dick move by a State Owned Enterprise, surely they could've invested the money themselves to built it.

Maybe true but there are other maker's devices it works with. Looks like they drew the line at custom ROMs, though.

If it's not working for you, make sure you have any ad blocking disabled. The app will fail to play if it can't contact the ad servers prior to streaming.

It's not the most stable service, but it's not bad for the price.

On my tablets (Samsung 8.9s with CM10.1 and 10.2) it plays the ad fine! Just won't play the program.

I have addons detector, but thats not live blocking anything.. and tablet has ABP in FF, but as far as I can tell its not integrated to the browser. Unless CM10 has some smarts
