mrgsm021:mrgsm021: Are we getting the Asian flavour with 2.5GHz or 2.3 here in NZ?
Purely speculating here but it looks like Vodafone Australia is getting the 2.5GHz variant which supports the 700MHz FDD LTE so probably be a safe bet NZ is getting the same one?
All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.

Is that 32GB or 16GB ?
mrgsm021: I am excited about the M8, and hopefully I will hold on to it alot longer than I did with M7 last year.

What did you replace it with, and why ?

I ended up going to S4, I've always had Samsung from the original S to S3, was going for the S4 but saw M7 had metallic chassis.
I went to S4 mainly because of no expandable memory which I thought wasn't a problem for me at the time and the LED notification hidden underneath the speaker grill was too small, I would miss the LED flashing sometimes.
I saw on one of the M8 video review the LED notification at work, much bigger and easier to notice.

Hmmm well I saw a review of the screen on the S5 and it said it was the best they had ever seen, so I have ordered one of each to keep my bases open.

I'd have loved to have the options open by ordering both, I envy you :-)
Not considering S5 at the moment until I've had a play with an actual phone to get a feel of its material.

old3eyes: If I have to choose between the SGS 5 and the M8 or Mate as I call it I would go for the Mate it looks like an all round better fone..

Four things that draw me to the S5. Removable Battery, Fingerprint Scanner, Larger customer base (Better development via community) and better screen.
