sidders80: Don't know if its been asked before however the prices on Google store are they GST exclusive or inclusive?

This is what I get when trying to order a Nexus 6:

(includes GST $0.00 NZD)

Good point, you'd hate to get stung with an additional custom charge. Any one know? I'm picking because it's google, it would almost certainly come fully paid up.

Hope you are patient. "Leaves the warehouse in 5 or 6 weeks"   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered my 64GB Nexus 6 from Mobicity (sorry...wasn't Expansys as originally posted. That was a different phone) in mid-December...and it left the warehouse in 5-6 weeks, arriving in early February.

I'd be annoyed if I thought they just placed my order through Google Store. :-)

But I have my Nexus 6 in my hand.....so nothing annoys me.

Yea, I know you can get them cheaper.  But I'd much rather buy direct from Google, then I know there'll be no warranty issues etc.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

Just checked the Google Play Store - Google has finally realised there are consumers with money beyond the boarders of the United States? not to sound snarky but really, it takes Google this long to provide their Nexus 6? Honestly, the laziness of who ever is in charge of international sales at Google makes me look like the epitome of the Protestant work ethic.

This is New Zealand - they probably sell more in one day through the US play store than they will sell here in one year. Yeah it took a while, but, hey, they are here now, which is great.

Let's hope they keep adding current and future devices on the New Zealand store :)

Agreed, logically the hard part is getting the infrastructure done and dusted so I expect Google will be pretty proactive with new devices moving forward

Read a rumour the next Nexus phone could be made by Huawei this time around, not sure how I feel about this as to me Motorola produce a fairly solid and likable product.

Had almost given up on nexus 6 to be launched in NZ by Google but was happy to order it right away. Can wait for few more weeks when I could for months ;-)

Motorola is owned by Lenovo now. I suspect the lag in delivery is a consequence of demand exceeding manufacturing ability to supply. So they make it look a bit hard and - defacto - impede demand to allow manufacturing to keep pace with the level of orders they do get. I have a feeling that if they could make more phones, they would promote it more heavily. The 'scarcity' may also be a way to keep the price up. Serving multiple purposes - manage demand and maximise profit.

So to take advantage of the 4G 700MHz sites being rolled out we need the XT1100 model which supports Band 28?

But we don't know yet if this is the model being sold through Google Play?

Contacted Google Support out of curiosity as this support for band 28 was talked over couple of times although it is clearly mentioned by Google that international one supports band 28 at https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/6102470

So Google reverted back confirming that the nexus 6 orders placed from NZ over Google Store will be supporting band 28.

Finally saw my first Nexus 6 in the flesh over the weekend. Nice hardware kit, nice interface - but just too big for my liking. Hope there is a smaller pure android option in the next iteration.
