A Handy app I would suggest downloading is Surface Hub from the windows App store. Lets you disable the Windows buttom (Handy if you're going to be writting alot on it!) and change the sensitivity of your pen

Yes

Got the keyboard and office 365 sub for a year.

It's fantastic.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback.

I would recommend this product.  Others are right, it really is very good.

You do need to set up the desktop version of one note.  I don't get why they have the other version.  Once you're in the desk top version you can then select the image that is your screen shot and use it from the clip board like you might expect.

I don't like how the screen shots work currently, but I'm not quite sure how I would like it to work.

I use Word a lot.  I really want it to snippy tool in to the clip board when I double click the button, then paste into what ever I choose.  So if I'm in Word then I just Ctrl-v. If I'm in paint then I just paste, same for PhotoShop, what ever app it is that I want the image in.

I can see the use of double click direct in to one note.  I can see the use of just making a 'OneNote file" and sharing that.  But I'm not about doing that.  I'm writing documentation and more often I want to publish stuff into a PDF from Word because I do stuff like add tables of content, text and tables from Excel.

But don't mistake me here....  I do accept that this might be as much about me just learning to drive a new tool and change the way I operate.  So I'm trying to keep an open mind.

I haven't played with annotating a PDF yet.  That's next on the list.

I do have to confess I'm enjoying the auto correct though.

Next I want to know how to upgrade to windows 10.  I confess I haven't even been following that space.  Nathan did say there was some announcement this week.  What was it?  Was it significant?

I haven't see voice to text yet either.  I've been using that more and more on my phone.  I've used it a bit on Android and IOS.  So far I found the Android version kicks IOS.  Be interesting to see what this product can do.

I was also interested to see the fan kick in.  The unit gets quite hot to hold on to, but in the cover I got, and with the keyboard connected, it's very much a serious laptop replacement.

I'd also like the buttons on the pen to do left and right click.  I'm feeling like I lost my right click.  Perhaps that functionality is here but I just haven't discovered it yet.

I haven't checked what another pen is worth or got any replacement AAAA batteries yet.  That's also next on the list.  I'm expecting I'll be sad when I loose the pen and I can so see that going south at some point.

I do like the reversible power connector.  That's very smart.

Haven't played with the camera yet.
