I sent an online email to Samsung this morning regarding not receiving the S22 Pre-registration Code for the $200 discount.

I ordered an S22 Ultra (256GB) anyway as my S8+ is getting a bit tired. Delivery due 24 Feb.

The purchase included an eVoucher of $500 which I used for a case, chargers and a few other items. All up $2081.55.

An eVoucher which you have to spend when making the phone purchase (otherwise you loose it) is not the same as a discount.

A $200 discount as offered on my purchase price would be nice.

Samsung store are single sim models ONLY it seems.

PBTech has historically sold dual sim models from 2D.

Thanks, although I thought that 2Degree gets the same phone from Samsung NZ.

If what you say is true, then I wonder which variant of the below will PBTech get from 2D:

  • one Nano SIM and one eSIM OR

  • two Nano SIMs and one eSIM

Samsung tells me is the dual SIM model.

Finally got through to Samsung live chat and they confirms all the S22's are dual nano sim & have the Snapdragon prosessor.

Now to decide between the S22 or S22+

The promo guide doesn't mention the /DS flag in the product models! Which normally indicates Dual Sim models.

Great that Samsung cleared that up that they're dual sim.

Same, but apparently it's just a generic code "GALAXYS22"

Does anyone know if Samsung takes full payment when you pre-order or when the phone ships?

Preordered my Ultra from Spark.  Comes with the Galaxy Watch4 Classic which I'll sell and put the funds towards the phone, given I have the watch already.

Confirmed it's Dual SIM with eSIM.

You can use with both nano SIM slots or one nano SIM and one eSIM.

Ah cool - can you confirm the normal S22 is $1299 less $200 with this code plus $300 e-voucher and 5% Samsung rewards ?
