Nice one! Now tell me, how come you didn't go in for the 2D boost trade-in if it was available?

The $600 trade in boost?  I got that.  Not cashed in yet obviously.

As someone who has owned every flagship Samsung smartphone, and many other brands as well, I can tell you that that comment is totally incorrect.

I am an extremely heavy user and the battery life on the S22 Ultra is as good as any phone I've owned or better.

Agreed, totally false.

I see the S23 Ultra and the overall S23 series phones have some amazing battery life so it will be epic.

Id be going for the regular s22 which reviews have consistently said battery life isn’t the greatest

Managed to snap an order through EPP for the 12/512GB Ultra plus a bunch of accessories similar to Tripp's order. Went with the green, but can't help a small measure of disappointment in the colour selection... I wish they had kept the S22 burgundy at least! Oh well, when the wallet case dies, I'll get a fun wrap haha

Looking forward to this coming from my S20+, which I was never happy with the 1080p @ 120hz limitation, battery life of the Exynos 990, and that it goes thermo-nuclear when on a Teams call; I'm looking forward to the early reviews showing that it runs cool and long with the SD 8 gen 2 part 3 mark 9 chapter 7: missives in silicon... and I imagine the camera will be a smaller jump in quality since it is all much of much with camera hardware these days and mostly differences in processing

Hopefully I will also get the use out of the pen I wanted to get out of my old note 9, which is to say using it as a working device, but I mostly ended up using the N9 pen as a remote camera clicker haha

My accessories have arrived.

Now just for the phone.

It has been processed so just waiting on a tracking number.

Pretty excited but it made me realize how hecking huge this phone is just going off the case size alone.

I still had the receipt from the Note 20 that I brought in 2020.

It was also $2300 buy they gave me an instant $200 off for buying it on 2 degrees finance.

You used to have to be on the 2 degrees $40 a month plan, now it's the $60 plan.

The old trade in boost was $300.

The specials were different, I would guess about the same value.  The scooter is a good freebee, better than headphones or whatever.

Thinking harder about the free stuff you get with the preorder deals.  The other thing you used to reliably get was free buds with a new phone.  They are nowhere to be seen this year.

Anyone selling a good set of Buds2 Pro?

I currently have the Note 20 Ultra with the same processor.  This upgrade really has two things, better battery and the long desired snapdragon chip.

Ordered the 512GB Ultra from Spark last week (Xbox All Access bundle worth $936 was a ncie preorder bonus offer). It shipped out last night and I am currently waiting on the courier to deliver it today sometime.

No although that's a great phone. So you mind if I ask why you are changing off the foldable phone? I was torn between the s23 and the fold.

I am looking for a phone for my teenage daughter if anyone want to sell their old model. She wants one of the mid size models of s20, s21 or s22. Must have good camera apparently.

Nothing wrong with it just bit heavy for me, I bought it as impulse buying, foldable doesn't suit me

Are they actually shipping them now or just allocating shipping numbers? I thought they weren't out until 17th Feb but have also received a message that a tracking number was allocated last night. Still hasn't been picked up though.

Edit: Nevermind. It just got picked up. I guess I might see it tomorrow.

Phone releases are not what they used to be.  All this shipping stuff a week before the release date means there isn't one big day when everyone gets their phones.  Come on everybody, it's a phone release, lets get excited!

I received mine at 12:30 today. Going through the setup.
Initial impression is that despite being very slightly heavier than my S21 Ultra, the weight distribution is vastly improved and so it is not top heavy and wanting to fall out of my hand.
