I have been using the Oppo X8 Pro while my Fold6 was away for update.

The battery life is incredible. The Oppo had about 50% left by the end of the day, with the same amount of use as the Fold, which would be in need of a charge at some point during the day if I didn't want it to simply shutdown.

It would be very rare for my S24 to not last the day. I usually have around 30% left at 11pm. On rare occasions when the wireless charger doesn't make a good connection overnight I've managed to get through to around 10-11am the following day. More battery life == better, esp since it seems the latest gen of processor is quite a big jump in performance.

I use my Fold6 open most of the time. I suspect having two SIMs and two screens to drive will drain battery faster than using the external display only.

Just got an email offering additional discounts through the normal Sammy store.

Code:  GALAXYS25

Stacks with the $150 pre-order voucher

The code offers a $300 trade-in boost, 45w Charger free and Clear Magnet Case

Code does not work on EPP store.

EPP store offer is still better

Does the EPP Store only deal with Education ?

That's going to make most of us ineligible.

Nope, nothing to do with Education. It's "Employee Purchase Program" and allows companies to sign up and offer discounts to their staff as a perk. I signed up my own tiny company to this, but I also have access through working for a Govt department. It's also available for AIA members, and some other orgs.

Samsung NZ is giving great discounts on the S25 range, if you want to trade in your S24 for a S25 then it brings it down to just over $500. A S24 ultra for a S25 ultra brings the price down to $1000. Less discounts for the S22 and S23 but still big discounts. eg S22 for S25 brings it down to $939

Common sense is not as common as you think.

I was going to chat with them, however, I was 86th in the queue and after half an hour I'd only moved 8 places and it was still predicting a 50 minute wait. I'll try later tonight.

A $500 straight swap or less, would probably be acceptable to me.

For those with access to the EPP store, I think you can get the best deal there. They are offering 25% off the base price for each model, and a $100 trade-in boost. And if you had signed up to the pre-launch offers, you should have at least a $100 voucher to use. I also did the pre-register thing for $20 which got me an extra $150 voucher. With all the discounts and trade-in (S23 256GB for $460) stacked up, the S25 only cost me $289. And then I got a couple of cases and screen protectors too.

I'm pretty keen to upgrade S23 to S25. Is the pre launch discount linked to the EPP account it was issued to?

If anyone has EPP pre launch discounts they're not using and willing to share, let me know please 😁

On EPP as a new user, I can get the S25U 1TB for $1,031.40 by trading in my S23U 1TB with available codes.

Buying a Tesla? Use my Tesla referral link and we both get discounts and credits.

How do you access the EPP store in the Samsung app for new user discount? I can only see options for the public store and education in Samsung Shop.

You need to open this in the mobile app to get the 10% new user discount. This discount doesn't appear in the web store.

I believe 10% applies to web store as well as long as that's your first order.
