I like the 2 degrees app - it's way more useful than NetCounter. But it shows up on my HTC Wildfire like it's cut in half and only the top half is visible - the top corners of the box are rounded and the bottom ones aren't, and half the text isn't showing. Any fixes for that bug?

Can you post - or e-mail me (address under the about box) a screen shot, I know its not drawing properly when in landscape, I will be fixing that soon..

Pay to post any problems with this widget under its post in "2degrees" forum.

Unfortunately it only has Auckland Council information in it. Hopefully we'll have time to put in other council info at some point in the next couple of months.

It has libraries, parks, lavatories and pools (hopefully useful for parents).

Right so I went to buy one of the apps mentioned in this thread and I got asked to re log in to confirm I was who I was I did this and then it just got stuck in a loop once I entered my login details it refreshed only to ask for me to login again.

Soo how am I actually able to buy stuff if the marketplace won't let me pay or it???

Any ideas or suggestions as to how I may be able to fix this would be great.

Hi,

I have read that if you have problems with the Market app you can go into Manage Applications (in Settings) and clear the Market cache.

Well I suppose that worked although I was using the market place on my PC. I soo need to get used to thinking of my phone as more than jsut that at times. Cheers

If you haven't enabled the market on your phone, the web Market interface may not be able to push apps to your phone.

I either buy apps on the phone directly or I can push them to the phone from the web site.....but your phone has to be on a network. You can't disable data, turn wifi off and expect any app to be able to get to your phone. Not saying you did....just outlining the links in the chain that need to be there and operating.

It's very good...but it hasn't quite achieved magic yet.

Living in Christchurch I am constantly using 'Quick Quake Viewer'. It absolutely rocks!
I also use 2degrees widget which is brilliant... 2nd to none :-) ?

Hey All

I used to be an Iphone user and now considering going back as there seem to be way more NZ apps
and they are really polished, I dont mind paying for quality apps on android cos i love the freedom and how custom elements of Android, but cant help that feel that in NZ atm you can spend $1000+ on a high end android device that feels less functional than the iphone equivelent, well in NZ anyway

here are the main three i used to use on my iphone

I would love to see a CHCH Metro Info app as complete as the Iphone App - still love the ones that are already out there, but frustrating that the CHCH metro App has the best search function but metro info grabber plus is the one that displays card balance, 2 apps to do one thing whereas the iphone app does all in 1 , unless im missing something

Also would like a Sky App as mentioned like the Iphone app - this app worked awesome on my 3gs
and now im on an xperia i really miss having this, being able to record on mysky at any time

Hoyts New Zealand App- again like the one i had on iphone, so easy to book tickets on the fly and check the showing times

on an after thought - non NZ realted app, still waiting for Plants Vs Zombies on Android :)

Plants vs Zombies is available on the Amazon App Store, not that I have downloaded it, just saw it yesterday when I was in there
