My thougts exactly, i deleted the system apps i didnt want with es browsers root explorer so im pretty much running stock homeycomb over a lagless touchwix theme. Pretty happy with it to be honest.  The geekzone performance could still be better, but i dont come here that often so it is no biggie for me.

Cannot wait for this thing to properly hit NZ, pretty tempted I must say. Glad to hear the touchwiz update gets rid of the lag.

I've spent a few more hours playing around and I have to say the whole browser experience is way better, like it should have been from day one. One site in particular that was very difficult to use no longer gives me any problems, and in general there is very little lag (unless the site is heavy on the graphics/ads).

There is also an option to hide the menu bar at the top of the page and have it show up to the side of the page if you hold your finger down - screenshot attached.

Nice, time to get myself updated I think... before I pass it on :)

Hopefully the Transformer doesn't lag too much, I hear 3.2 is quite a bit more responsive than stock 3.0/3.1 HC.

You guys think its better than the iPad? I am an Android fanboy I guess, but thinking of getting a tablet for ereading for study purposes, as well as general stuffing around. Had a play with one at JB Hifi (the iPad), seemed pretty good/useful for my needs. 800$ for the 16gb wifi, though I understand thats the price for the Tab 10.1. Is the touchwiz update rolled out across the world at the same time? Or is it location based? Wouldn't want to buy a tab locally then get stuffed over with updates and such.

Its Android, doesn't really matter where they roll the updates out to, they'll be available to all within hours :)

10.1 has been blocked in Europe by a German court's injunction, great. Reinforces my choice to never give money to Apple ever again! It's just depressing, I hate that my ability to spend my own money on products that I want to buy is slowly being constricted (assuming, of course, I was European, but you get my drift).

As a fellow Maori I totally agree. What right do Apple have to deny taonga?

[attempt at humour, not offence]

Anyway, I don't think this blockage will last. My problem is the high amount of money Samsung is asking for something that does less than a netbook.
