Freitasm out of curiosity who actually deploys the updates:

1. Huawei once they get approval from the Telco involved.

2. Telco deploys the update themselves.

Huawei deploys after telcos approve.

For those looking for Watch GT update. There is update 1.0.8.30 (C03) approx 4.49mb. Adds couple of new watch faces & improvements re heart rate monitor. Done through Health app today.

Anyone experiencing buyer’s remorse in light of the recent events? I’m still really happy with the phone and am optimistic that things will work out and it’ll all be business as usual, but I can’t help feeling a sort of “I wish an iPhone had this camera setup...”

Yeah, considering borrowing a Vodafone SIM to see if that gets things moving, still nothing on Spark...have any Spark devices been upgraded yet? Why are they dragging their heels (this is one part of the eco-system Apple absolutely nails them on...full end-to-end control I guess.

Don't Wait as noted on the previous page install HiSuite Huawei's software for managing the phone and it will find the update https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/hisuite/

It works a treat.

It works a treat.

The version for Mac unfortunately doesn't include the ability to do a software update...

Hi Matt,

I'm not a Mac guru but could you install a Windows Virtual Machine using Boot Camp, or even go to a mates place who has Windows and update from their machine you could uninstall it after you have updated.

I wonder if you have an issue with your security software blocking a port, I would temporally disable the firewall and try connecting the phone again and checking for an update did you follow the on computer screen prompts and the reciprocal prompts on the phone when you updated last time ?

Same issue with my Spark P30 Pro too.This is a minor update so meh, but if this is what's to come for future updates I will be annoyed.
