that's a joke. no headphones no charger no sd card slot, now you have to pay $25 for a piece of plastic they used to include.

next year you won't get the charging cable

Yes and no. The phones for the last 2 years have dropped down in price.

Yup my S20+ 128gb was more expensive than my new S22 Ultra 512gb so I'm happy

I was pleasantly surprised that my S22 256GB cost same as my 128GB S10 Snapdragon!

Starting to get a little cheesed off with Samsung.

No word on my order from 11th Feb. Was advised they would split it, but nothing further ever since.

Not even sure who to complain to anymore.

I feel ya pain. I've been on the same boat trying to sort a billing issue since 12th Feb and its almost a month now. Every time I call, they say its escalated. Every time I contact chat, they its escalated.

I don't know what to do anymore.

I haven't heard anything either.. Samsung support told me the request to split the order has been submitted.

Appreciate Samsung really should have done better at checking expectations from the off or with communicating updates on what's going on.

From what I understand, there is a huge struggle with staffing at all the courier companies due to Omicron... Not just with the drivers either. We heavily rely on them and they're getting slammed... Also bit of an unfortunate circumstance where more people are at home and needing couriers too.

Hold tight everyone✌🏾

**edit: I'm absolutely frothing at the idea of getting my new S22+. Going from an old LG G7 ThinQ I'm pretty certain my little mind will be totally satisfied and especially going in with no fear of being disappointed by incremental change! This will be a fairly decent jump for me.

I love how people got more for less money. That's value at it's core. I don't see that happening on the other side of the fence.

All for saving a bit of cash when it comes to chargers etc (as most people should have them) and I can choose which SP I prefer.

Even if I factor in the costs of those still less than the saving I made. Really happy with this approach personally.

Agree especially if you made use of the pre order deals.

It was a no brainer for me when I was tossing up between $1999 for iPhone 13 Pro 256GB (for its size and 3 cameras) vs $1399 S22 256GB minus the $200 pre order minus the $300 worth of credit which I used to buy super fast wireless charger, cases and other useful stuff.

Almost worked out it would have cost me twice the money to buy the 13 Pro vs the 22

I believe you mean S10 series. Not S20. I'm rocking S10 since launch, have decided to jump on S22U.
I can probably count 2-3 times I've used headphone jack since getting it. Mostly Bluetooth.
More gutted bout SD card since I've carried that over multiple android flagships over past 10 years. Gota move with the times.

I used headphone jack few times in 2020 when my partner's car was new and didn't have BT. And once when I took a Teams call on my mobile and my BT headset I left it at gym lol I plugged in my standard Jabra wired headset to the phone.

Since then, haven't used the 3.5mm

Newest BT transfer rate and range is ridiculously good.

My wife’s s22 (order placed 10th feb) finally arrived today, didn’t come in the same big fancy samsung box mine came in though, hers came in a small office max box. Also received another parcel about the same size with a stick vacuum, I think it must have been a PBTech S22 pre-order because iirc they had a stick vac bundle. Courier just dropped it and left, it was addressed a couple houses down so flagged the courier and told him he delivered to the wrong address.

I had that this time :( smart switched killed all my app settings, was rather gutted moving from my S20+ to the S22 Ultra. I managed to restore a lot from Samung and Google Backups after though.

Oh and Smart Switch also messed up my gallery copying the photos with the date I switched not the photo taken date

Yes I remember now also my gallery all messed up and some renamed and duplicates of photos with new names just numbers and also contacts was all doubled now I've just got them all in google so much easier to transfer just does it when set up phone..

Just use smart switch to transfer Samsung health and messages and was worried about transferring messages to new google messages but found Samsung messages still there in Samsung folder in apps section set it to default and was able to transfer with smart switch.

Re screen protectors, any experience/recommendations between PanzerGlass and ZAGG Fusion XTR?

Inclining towards the latter, though mainly as it seems to be included in a lot more reviews & comparisons.  I assume therefore PanzerGlass is not so widely used?

Alas neither currently in stock (a couple of NL stores do have the ZAGG but their price is a bit steep).

This is my case in point regarding mine, and others' orders from 11th Feb where the status hasn't changed. They indicated they will split mobile device orders where the accessories are not available, yet still no update on my order and still hasn't been split. I was told this last week. My replacement device also has not been sent out, yet the faulty one was received last week as well.

One may argue that yours was an accessory and probably different teams/warehouses, but I've ordered a third phone last week and it was prepared for dispatch the very next day and sent out the next. Very broken ordering/dispatch system and seems like there's no communication with the dispatch team.
