NikT: Plenty of band 3/1800MHz 4G outside of main centres, & more going live every week: http://www.vodafone.co.nz/network/coverage/
Turning a mid-range device down because it doesn't support a band that's only present in one flagship phone in this market & not live anywhere yet seems a bit silly to me. :)
Band 28 support will become more common as operator demand ramps up & the cost of the brand spanking new chipsets that support it come down. Unsure why anyone would have realistically expected it in the LTE Moto G, still a bit early!

Very little coverage for 4G and I don't even get good coverage for 2G and 3G and I am 100M away from a 3G antenna
unless my phone is faulty, but Vodafone came back and stated that a was in a bad area and to use 3G, I get the same signal level as I do with 2G and have no need for 3G.
Paraparaumu is not even listed for 4G and comments from Dick Smith stated their was very little coverage in Wellington, that comment was made
a month or so back.
The higher the frequency the lack of good coverage
The 700Mhz band is new as they had to remove the TV channels from it, its used on OZZ and UK.

kandjc: Will that WHouse Stationery phone work on the Telecom service? Thanks
Try Vultr using this link and get us both some credit:
kandjc: The moto e is available on ebay for around 220NZD including shipping.
Described as: Motorola Moto E - Global GSM - Unlocked - 4GB
It is only 4GB but does that matter if it has the micro SD slot?
Does Global GSM mean it works on Telecom?
Thanks
540trickzter: JB Hi-Fi says they will be getting the 4G LTE model around late July early August.
Is it really worth it with the very limited rage of 4G here and No 700Mhz band, I think the E has a SD slot does the new Moto G 4g have the same.?
I thing why we don't get the 16GB version here is the price will be to high.
