heavenlywild: Honestly, the 4 dollar SP (qty of 2) I got from AliExpress was installed so easily without bubbles.
Don't get fooled paying more than 10 bucks.
I am still tossing up between getting a glass or plastic film SP for the precious.
I still have the factory fitted SP on my S20U, with no corners and edges coming off, so had a very good run with it.
Had the whitestone dome on my S10plus though the finger print scanning experience on it was a hit and miss, nowhere near as good as the plastic film one on the S20U.
Might just go with the original Samsung SP once it is back in stock in EPP store.
I you dont want to wait for one from ali express the oem samsung is properly the best bang for buck. If youre looking for a glass I got the non + s22 version of the spigen from pb. It works with the fingerprint but is slower and sometimes requires to do your fingerprint twice or three times but rarely. Having said that you have to set up fingerprints at multiple positions after you apply for it to work properly https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MPPSGP04149/Spigen-Galaxy-S22-5G-Premium-Tempered-Glass-Screen
I put Samsung SP on my s22 ultra very easy to put on no bubbles(always get bubbles on others have put on) and works well, fingerprint sensor no adjustment after putting on and changing case no problems with edges very happy with this, don't know how long will last plus get 2 in pack.
Pb tech have in stock and a couple on special.

It doesn't say anywhere that there is 2 in the pack?

I'm waiting on any progress on my order of an S22+ (Green 256GB) placed on the Thursday last week, haven't had any email at all since the order confirmation one - everything it just stuck on 'processing'...
I emailed the estorenz address earlier this week and haven't had any response either. Pretty disappointing.
Anyone else still waiting on a phone from Samsung?
I have to say, after a week of owning my S22 Ultra I am the most impressed with it I have been for quite a while.
Battery life I'd like to be better, but I am a heavy user.
It's a heavier device noticeably but it feels good, takes decent phones (better than my note 20) and feels really quite responsive. It's not chalk and cheese but just a fraction quicker at everything...
It was worth the spend in my opinion.

I've been a big fan of the Samsung protective standing cover but yes I agree with you this time around its a little slipper due to the material.
Do you recommend any other alternative which is similar protection and not too bulky with a stand?
I considered the Spigen tough armor, but I personally don't like P-shaped camera cutouts and the kickstand itself looks really sub-par (I haven't tried it though).
@nebuz - I couldn't see the P-shaped cut out? It has separate cut out for the flash and camera - https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MPPSGP03991/Spigen-Galaxy-S22-5G-Tough-Armour-Case---Black-HEA
I wonder how much bulk it adds compared to the Samsung official protective standing cover?
I really liked the Liquid Air and Rugged armour but both of these don't have the stand which can be useful at times..

Appreciate everyone's thoughts and feedback so far on the new SS. I'm finally sorted and can chill out now after all the deliberations...The final result for me is amazing, I'm incredibly pleased with the finishes.
Basically after the Fusion XTR fail, I went to Fonebitz on Lambton Quay, Wellington. Got hydrogel installed (as recommended by a few people on here) on the front and then because he didn't have any precuts ready for the 22+ he made x3 custom hydrogel protectors for each lense...really can't tell it's on there! Dollar wise I'm still pretty stoked but the SP was a gift anyhow and after the refund, I paid $40 for main SP and $15 for that custom lense protection. No need to worry about case compatibility either now
It was pretty hard to take decent photo's because of how well it's done. There is a faint line across the middle of the screen because it comes in 2 halves but that will fade fairly soon.
Cheers

@brownie112 -- Ah apologies, I was thinking it was for the Ultra, which is what I've got here. In that case the case has a P cutout vs the much more pleasing (I think) individual or semi-individual cutouts on on other cases.
I honestly think it looks great for the S22 with the single long cutout -- still not sure about the kickstand (though haven't used it), but definitely better than nothing!
