To the 128GB'ers: Did you receive a Chromecast too? I got my phone today. I just got off the phone with 2D support and they don't see a Chromecast in my order.

No, I didn't either - I just assumed it was coming as a separate package. Might be worth chasing up though, unless @2DegreesCare can save us?

Might have to call and chase that up then, I got the 6P but no Nanosim kit (which I expected, because come on it's sensible to add it just in case and wouldn't cost a lot), nor a Chromecast.

Can anyone please confirm they received their order without ever getting a tracking number? Maybe even those that ordered the 64GB model?

Ordered last Friday, credit charged straight away, and was told I would be emailed a tracking number but by Tuesday had not received one. Called up and was told they would contact distribution centre and get back to me. Shortly after my call I get an email from 2degrees saying ‘It’s official, we’ve received your order’ and ‘In the next day or so we’ll drop you another email to let you know that your order is on its way and when to look out for the courier.’

Still no email…

I’ll be disappointed if it does not turn up by tomorrow as I have to travel to ChCh in the weekend for work and not back until the following weekend

Very disappointed, a week today and phone has not even been shipped! No one seems to know why and I have had no response to my PM to @2degreescare other than to ask me what my code was. I know from reading this forum that others who ordered after me received their 6P. One 2degrees person I spoke to talked to their manager who responded ‘if they haven’t received a tracking number then it hasn’t been shipped’ Not very helpful, that is why I’m (insert expletive here) calling.

Off to Dunedin for 7 days tomorrow (not CHCh now) so had to ship c/o Dunedin 2degrees store. Here’s hoping they don’t stuff this up for me

Never got a chromecast. Waiting for 2D to call me back. Had to point the agent to this thread before he'd acknowledge I was missing a Chromecast.

Did anyone else call 2D and sort this out after the fact?

Did everyone get their free chromecast?

2D have been REALLY bad with their service on this. I rang up asking where my chromecast was - they've promised to call back 3 times, only just called back now - after my 4th phone call. Now they tell me I need to ring Huawei to get my chromecast.

Doesn't sound consistent with what everyone else has posted on here.

2D dissapointing - used to think they have awesome customer service...

I dunno, I do recall my Chromecast having 2degrees name on the packaging label. That doesn't mean it didn't come from Huawei though. Definitely chase up with them or ask if @2degreescare can help out.
