lxsw20: $115 USD if im seeing that correctly? Does it make breakfast in bed for me too?

$59.99 USD from what i'm seeing.

Yeap! Still not exactly sure if it's worth it. $65.98USD with postage. Once converted to NZ$ and YouShop postage charges are included, you're looking at about $100 for this charger.

myndlyz: Hey guys,

Is there anyone else here that gets the following message when your sending texts to different people in a short period " Messaging is sending a large number of SMS messages. Do you want to allow this app to continue sending messages?"

I gotta say, its really annoying

Allllll the time its soooo friggin annoying but no way to stop it

I haven't seen this since my Xmas day text rampage. I thought there was an option to disable. But I wouldn't have sent enough to replicate again.

Looks like this is fixed in 4.2.2 see line 568 here: https://gist.github.com/archon810/4772945#file-changelog_android-4-2-1_r1-2_android-4-2-2_r1-txt

Got it. Nothing new that I can see that I need. However, it seems slightly laggier. Undecided

Didn't notice any lag, but the long press tile toggles are handy.

Hmm. Why me?! Haha. Thanks. Nice to know that it's not the update. Might just go back to Cyanogenmod if this continues to be laggy for me though. It's not really laggy. Just not as fluid as before. Or maybe that's psychological :D. Cyanogenmod offers customisation options for the toggles etc anyway so not sure if I'll miss anything from stock. Let's see how this goes for now. Only just got the update earlier this morning. Will reboot and give it some time :)

Anyone got 4.2.2 OTA or have you just side-loaded it?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Just got 4.2.2 update OTA.

Immediately after reboot, OfficeSuite Pro 7 + (PDF & HD) began an update - an 18MB download. I noticed that the percentage completion / time remaining info does not appear in the notification drop down box. If this info is only displayed in the Play Store app then its off little use when most apps auto-update outside of the Play Store.

Haven't got it either.

Workmate got it this morning. He a bit of a chuckle, his handset is NZ sourced and mines from the US.

Anyone got any ideas why Google Maps would be using up 44% of my battery? I am not using it and it shouldn't be running... (I've tried force quit via Battery menu)?

Battery has been really bad lately, so trying to understand why Google Maps is showing up. Screen time is generally only about 1 hour. Barely get through a day with light usage (1 hour phone, few txts and emails).

No special apps installed which would use data/gps, aside from Facebook and Twitter.

Try disabling location services in settings.

Thanks, I tried disabling Location Access for Google Services but it didn't seem to help. I'll try disabling Location Services + GPS completely (which defeats the purpose of having if it's going to kill the battery)

I just updated to 4.2.2, so hoping that fixes the issue.

One thing I did notice was that when I try to uncheck "Automatic Check-ins" in the Location Services settings, it always rechecks itself.

Kinda annoying. Battery life would be about half of my HTC One X right now (maybe worse than that). It's probably the worst of any android phone I've had. It wasn't this bad when I got it, so hoping it's a software bug.
