For those waiting on S22 Ultra. Latest email reply i received from e-store asking about my order from 20th Feb.

They also asked if split delivery is OK so bundled gifts can be despatched.

"

The S22 Ultra series is expected to arrive this week and will be prepared for dispatch after.

gehenna:

Also can confirm the S22 Ultra works perfectly with the AAWireless android auto wireless adapter.

That's a decent looking car charger... what kind / where from? I have one however because I use the Samsung Silicon cover with the built in kickstand, the position of the kick stand fouls with the charging plate. I'm looking for other options.

When will our phones get the update that removes the artificial throttling that apparently Samsung built-in on their latest gen phones?

Hopefully not too long since overseas markets have started receiving updates.

I am surprised no one has brought up the GOS issue in GZ until now or maybe it was brought up but not discussed extensively.

Loving the standby on the S22U, have been getting well over a day, in some cases day and a half on a full charge with SOT of more than 5 hours.

Guess the Snapdragon version does make a difference, goes to show how much we have been missing out all these time on Exynos silicon.

Initially, I didn't think battery life was better, but it definitely is. I can mostly get through to the end of the day unless I am gaming more than I probably should, and then I end up charging it mid evening. Last few days I have hit 15% as I have been heading to bed.

I'm seeing 30-40% when I go to bed on my base S22. It improved a lot over the weeks.

Typical usage is 1.5hours Spotify at the gym, 2hours podcasts outdoors walking all on bluetooth head phones and general browsing/social media throughout the day. Also worth mentioning I use WiFi mostly but 4G and some 5G about 30-40% of the time. Also full time connected to Galaxy Watch4.

SoT is not relevant for me due to most of usage is from Bluetooth but still get around 3hrs by late evening. I like to add the SoT and the 'background usage' hours of Spotify + podcasts to get a good understanding of how long my usage is.

I read somewhere that its best to keep the battery life around the 50-85% mark whenever possible so might try do that since there are chargers literally everywhere like office, home, car etc.

Has anyone noticed the high amount of reserved Memory (RAM) on the Ultra? I've got the 12GB RAM version.

To put it in context:

S22 Ultra

12GB Ram

Reserved: 2.1GB. Is this norma? Is the amount of reserved RAM related to the amount of app installed on the device?

Available RAM after just running a clean up: 3.7GB only.

S22+

8GB Ram

Reserved: 0.9GB

Available RAM: 3GB

A32 (I know this device can't be compared, but just for interest sake)

6GB Ram

Reserved: 492MB

Available: 2.8GB

Did anyone get the new Samsung Super Fast Wireless Charger Duo (15W) as part of their S22 order bundle/bonus, that they don't need and want to sell?

I'm looking at buying one, and thought I'd ask here first in case someone has one unused.

Thanks

I'd probably also be keen if there is more than 1

Anyone know if that charger would also charge my Huawei GT2 Pro watch?

How do we claim the rewards that we were supposed to receive by ordering the Galaxy S22 from Samsung E-store?

Well, apparently we were supposed to get some free youtube premium months, but despite trying to call, chat and email it never worked.

The points should be loaded against your samsung account -mine were. If it's there, it'll pop up as an option for payment on any product you put in your cart...

Yea I think the youtube premium thing was for people who have never had one. I didn't get it either.. I just assumed it was because I was already a premium member. I recall previous poster saying the same thing?
