GV27: No joy unfortunately. Plus, and this might have changed, I thought the updates were delivered with the newer versions of KIES? As in you couldn't get any non-OTA updates without the latest version?

The ics update is meant to be available OTA

You have got to be kidding me! the latest version of kies?!

As soon as I install that damn thing the MTP driver fails and my tablet can't sync

Thank God. I could never tell if my OTA update function was broken or Samsung just hadn't released anything.

I was using Kies just yesterday at work and there was no update available for either Kies or the OS. Also tried wirelessly with no success. Has anyone contacted Samsung about the update? Tried a live chat support but didnt work, didnt have time to phone them.

I have just got off the phone from Samsung NZ. I asked about the update and he said that it is coming but that they have not been told when it is happening! He said that not even the management in NZ have been told.

I also complained about the fact that when you have to choose which device for troubleshooting on the main site there is no option for tablets. He said they are also working on this!

So perhaps we are going straight to jellybean?

Good work, I got lost on the nz website the other day, wondered if it was deliberate!

The fact is I really like my 10.1 and use it all the time for work and play. I wasn't that bothered about the update until my tablet started to become a little slow/laggy over the past few weeks and I heard ICS speeds the system up as a whole.

Hello all,

YES the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be getting ICS in NZ.
When..... Im not to sure. Probably not for a few months, maybe longer.

I can't even connect my Galaxy tab 10.1 to Kies so im not sure how I'm even going to be able to update mine. Hopefully just through the software update thats built into the tablet.
