Poll: Came through this morning on my nexus 7.

Came on my wife's N7 last night but I didn't update since nothing is currently broken and I don't want to change that.

4.3 has significant improvements for the Nexus 7, which has very slow memory.  4.3 Includes trim support that should speed up memory performance and prevent it slowing down over time.

I thought general consensus was TRIM support is what was resolving Nexus 7 performance issues - which most people are attributing to slow/degrading storage performance, not memory.

My wife doesn't use her N7 much so she's never complained about it slowing down. But having MX player break is a bit annoying.

On the trim stuff I have been running trim on my Galaxy Nexus regularly and while I thought it was initially helping with lag, it doesn't seem to be helping much now.

Guess I might have to do a factory reset before applying 4.3

N4 update came through a couple of days ago.  Came down over my home connection like lightening, 169mb in just a couple of minutes.  Installed very quickly.  Not able to discern much in the way of changes.

Still nothing for me Nexus 10.
I have given up trying, auto updates and checks are enabled.
When it is ready to update, it will do so.

N4 and N10 finally received it this morning.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

I really think the software updates have reached maturity status.

Just over 2 years ago Honeycomb was released. Prior to this nothing scaled properly, it was a real mess.

Two years later and we have another version update (admittedly not an entire version number) but there are virtually no new features added. It is starting to feel a bit like iOS. I used to look forward to the new versions as there was so much to play with.

It is over a year since Jellybean 4.1 was released.

Where are they going to go from here? Where is the next big thing?

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Heaps underneath.. TRIM for instance makes a N7 faster.

Nexus 10 updated last night, installed quickly.
Performed factory reset from the settings menu and spent a little amount of time setting everything back up.

Straight forward!

Might need a new thread for this but after the OTA 4.3 Update (Nexus 4) my device is no longer listed as a device when accessing the Play store from the desktop browser. Can purchase apps from the phone without issue but can't purchase them via the desktop browser to send to phone as I do not have a phone.

Did a factory restore last night but it did not fix
