makes sense that they would have explored all the available options before picking a path.
Interesting article. Perhaps there was some substance after all to the rumours that Nokia wasn't happy with the development being done by Microsoft on Windows Phone. It would seem from reading that article that Nokia were looking to the future in the next year or two, this wasn't part of the process to decide which OS to replace Symbian or Meego.
Was the possibility of Nokia dumping WP a driver for Microsoft to buy the Nokia handset division?
