Is there an official samsung way of getting your device back to factory condition apart from the built in factory reset

You can flash the firmware on, and I guess there's a reset you can do, but I doubt it'll get videos back. I'm new though...

Yabanize: Anyone else think this update has battery problems?
I have had my S4 for a week and when first started it, it did some updates and battery wouldnt last a day.  In the end I did a full factory reset and started from scratch and it has been good since.  I also then manually put my apps in rather than from backup.  Dont know why it worked but it did.

HTPC Intel Pentium G3258 cpu, Gigabyte H97n-wifi motherboard, , 8GB DDR3 ram, onboard  graphics. Hauppuage HVR 5500 tuner,  Silverstone LC16M case, Windows 10 pro 64 bit using Nextpvr and Kodi

Yeah I was thinking of doing another reset, resets area always good after updates

To fix my other problem, (demo music and videos) Ive been told to to the Firmware upgrade and initialization thing in Kies which wipes the phone and loads the latest firmware on it
