It will be interesting to see the price these release at given the fall in NZ dollar.

I'm picking $1,200 for Z5 and $1,400 for Premium.

Suggestion, don't hold your breath. Sony NZ are still selling the Z2 tablet, the rest of the world got the Z4 eons ago.

Taken from the Sony Mobile NZ facebook page.

Post:
"Z5 series pre orders and release date? and will it be spark exclusive?"

Response:

"Thanks for getting in touch!
The Z5 will be launching globally from October, and the Z5 premium from November.
However we won’t be announcing specific local timing and ranging until closer to the date.
We haven't had any word on pre-orders yet. But yes, it will be available on the Spark network.
Keep an eye on the Facebook page though, we'll update you from there"

After seeing the camera comparison with the ipHone 6s plus the Z5 looks pretty meh. The video looked rubbish, low light was awful and it suffered when shooting towards a bright brackground, I.e the sky.

V10 is my last hope for the year.

Yep. DXOMark prove yet again that their testing regimen results are not at all applicable to real world use.
