So another annoying post, but thought it might be useful if someone else is seeking answers to the same problem I've experienced:
Working DUAL SIM Configurations:
Scenario 1) SIM1: Vodafone SIM2: Vodafone (Only 1 SIM can have Data active. The other SIM will be 2G only)
Scenario 2) SIM1: 2Degrees, SIM2: 2 Degrees (Only 1 SIM can have Data active. The other SIM will be 2G only)
Scenario 3) SIM1: Vodafone, SIM2: 2Degrees (Only 1 SIM can have Data active. The other SIM will be 2G only)
Scenario 4) SIM1: Spark/Skinny, SIM2, Vodafone/2 Degrees (Spark/Skinny HAS to be Data Enabled, the Vodadone/2 Degrees SIM will HAS to be Voice Only as Spark/Skinny DOES NOT Support 2G Capability)
Scenario 5) SIM1: Spark/Skinny, SIM2, Spark/Skinny (Only 1 of the SIM's will work. The second SIM WILL NOT WORK as Spark/Skinny DOES NOT Support 2G Capability)
It's no water off my back, I was REALLY hoping to eliminate carrying 2 phones (I don't have 2, but I prefer having business/personal separate), but for now, I'll keep to it. Might have to buy my own personal Meizu handset.
On the interim, there's nothing on the Meizu Website which explains this limitation, and I really think that PB Tech should do the right thing for customers and explain this on the website. I would put a review on the handsets, but considering that I respect PB Tech as the most reputable IT Reseller in the country who has never once let me down, I'm hoping that this will be published with the product listings.
