I ordered my XZ in from Amazon UK, together with the MDR-XB950BT freebie.. Total cost converted came down to $984 for everything including GST and shipping

It was meant to arrive today however I got a UPS exception "We were unable to load the package on the plane as scheduled. " yesterday, which now means it won't be here until Tuesday (due to Labour Day)..

Got mine for $879 but probably no freebie. At least, no mention of that. No freebie, no colour choice - the best thing was the price!

Just have to get the right Fast Charger for it and a case now.

Not a bad freebie - $350 a pair in NZ!

Yea I ordered it in blue. At the point of ordering in September it was around $1065, the exchange rate has dropped brutally again bringing it down nearly $100 in a months time, luckily Amazon only charge the card at the moment of shipping :)

Certainly some nice prices floating around and great to see people buying it. I really hope Xperia flagships are around for many years to come.

This is my likely order, holding out for dual SIM 64GB. I'm going to Oz in a couple of weeks so will get it delivered there. Want it now but my X Performance is doing just fine.

Still tossing up if I should buy one to have a play with. I likely have a Pixel arriving from Australia Monday too.

Can probably sell it for what I paid for it in a weeks time.

I purchased the XZ directly from Sony's store (Sylvia Park) yesterday. They price matched NL sale price of $879. The complimentary(?) case is out of stock but will be put on courier for free in a few days.

No mention of complimentary anything from NL.

My impression at the time of purchase was that it was a Sony store bundle and the case was late to the party.

Seems NZ is one of those places where we do not get the freebies other places get. (Edit - or even the colours, for that matter!)

There's no mention of a bundle on the Sony NZ page for the XZ - or wasn't last time I looked a few days ago.

Just had a call from NL - phone has arrived, so heading over to collect shortly.

Then just have to work out how to transfer stuff from iOS to new phone...

It wasn't till I was paying for the phone that the staff member mentioned about the case being included with the phone and that it's a few days until stock arrive. Like you I hadn't noticed any mention on their website either.

Ha, you're right. I noticed the Spark logo when the phone started but thought it was originating from the Skinny sim.

Another reason to parallel import. Or just flash it.

Would that not void the warranty?

Aside from that it's a really nice phone. Just trawling through the setup and so on at the moment.
