Just made an order for a Pixel 3 and a Pixel 3 XL on the US store shipping to Youshop.

Will see what happens.

edit: used Westpac MasterCard, pending charge has appeared in the credit card transactions history. Fingers crossed.

I purchased a Pixel 3 XL on Oct 19 from the Google Store (US) they accepted my BNZ Visa. I was shipping to a place where my friend was staying. FedEx then delayed deliver until Oct 29 a day after she was flying back. So I cancelled it. FedEx then marked it as damaged/unrecoverable.

I'm still trying to get a refund.

However, relevant point for this discussion, they accepted my CC fine.

Just saw today that now Parallel Imported are selling the Pixel 3 and 3XL with free delivery - an okay price compared to some methods, but I'm not sure what country variant of the phone it would be though...

Are you referring to Pixel 3 64gb for $1616? If that's a decent price then this is more overpriced than I thought :(

I have tried with two different methods to do this.
After 24 hrs the orders were cancelled for "suspicious activity".
I suspect Google has blacklisted the YouShop address.

Yeah I had the same issue with US google store.

Tried once with my normal account then once again with an account created via VPN and both were cancelled due to suspicious activity.

Ended up ordering through bigapplebuddy.com and finally have pixel 3 in my hands as we speak.

Cost around $1800 all up fwiw

Thanks for the info jol! Buying a OnePlus 6 and installing Gcam on it is getting more and more appealing :( That pixel3 wide angle front camera looks so good though!!!

I ended up giving up on the wait for the Pixel 3 to be viable through a trusted retailer here in NZ and grabbed a OnePlus 6T through PBTech, would absolutely recommend. It's an awesome phone at a really great price!

I am planning on holding onto it until this time next year and I'll then see if the Pixel 4 is released in NZ (I suspect it will be officially in NZ in 2019) and then possibly sell the OP6T (hopefully at a good price for a flagship phone that is only a year old and in good condition), or hold onto it for another year depending on what the Pixel 4 looks like.

Okay, so finally I tried to order again with the same ANZ CC. The order just went through and is under process now. Let's see if they find any issue with the Youshop address. Also what youshop will do with the shipment above NZD2000.

Just received email from Google store saying that the order is cancelled. :(
