Just had a look at the Pro at NL. Too big for me, but what an outstanding phone in hand. Huawei come a long way in a couple of years! Spec for spec, you would have to have rocks in your head to purchase an iPhone XR for a similar money IMHO.

I was pleasantly surprised at the price. $1422 at JB with some free kit thrown in. I was expecting it to be around $1600.

seems that both JB and NL are $1422, while 2D and Pbtech are $1499 - guess they are competing with Pbtech's better offer?

Noel Leeming : $1422 - Bonus $400 headphones + $50 Camera Stand + Wireless Charger

JBHifi : $1422 - Bonus $250 Headphones + Wireless Charger

Pbtech : $1499 - Bonus $579 headphones + wireless Charger

Spark : $1499 - Bonus $300 phone printer + wireless charger + $150 off on plan

2D: $1499 - Bonus Wireless charger + $100 off on plan

Please excuse my ignorance but the dual SIM capability, will it work with Spark and Vodafone together, or is it only VF&2D?
And is that full 4G data capability on both networks?

Edit: These new nano-SD cards, are they actually available? And the M20Ps we are getting here, will they only have the dual SIM tray or the additional SD tray I have seen in some reviews? Makes a difference what internal memory is required if you want to run a dual SIM.

Yes. It is dual standby (like 99% of other Dual sim devices)

so you can have a LTE session on both, but the secondary would be bare minimum to provide calling/sms - assuming VoLTE support, otherwise it's 4G/3G really.

The Spark one will come preset for 4G/3G due to the current state of all NZ networks, which makes sense. It's a stupid easy toggle to press should you wish to override.

@NikT is the PB/2D model the same?

The tray is an interesting one, seems to be Sim on one side and SD on the other..

NanoSD is interesting... as it's a 128GB model and i store my data in the cloud each night, it doesn't really phase me.

I don't really understand the point though, as NanoSD seems to only have a benefit of size.... Of which the size of a microSD wasn't really any different to it and the circuitry will be just as large...

Just an easier little chip to loose or break ;)

Not seeing the Noel Leeming deal, is it only available in store?

Disappointing that we’re getting limited colour range here. Are there any issues ordering one from overseas?

Thanks for that. Retard moment on my part; looked at the product on their site and not through the site itself.

A pity about the colours available - would order one of it came in blue.
