can confirm this works.

Ah cool - can you confirm the normal S22 is $1299 less $200 with this code plus $300 e-voucher and 5% Samsung rewards ?

Think the watch is OOS now.

Take note this is 256gb model

Seems to work fine, just stick it in your cart and add the voucher to try it. $1099 seems a good price with the freebies chucked in.

Great, this looks like the winning combination. I've been told that the EPP student promo for the S22 will be up later this afternoon too so will probably check that before ordering normally with the above deal.

Anybody know what the Friends and Family discount or the EPP Programme (Education Store Discounts) will be?

Still not listed on the EPP Portal.

Also tried to contact them for the Friends and Family offer but nothing yet.

IIRC, for the S21 series, the F&F discount was 35% at launch, and the EPP store discount was 25%.

EPP was 35% on the S21 - got one for my partner.

I would imagine it would be similar this year - if its anything less its worth just buying from normal Samsung site. To me the $300 voucher is only worth maybe $150 - $200 based on what I've seen now that the watch is out of stock.

Does anybody know how the 5% rewards thing works? Is it just another 5% back?

Edit: Looks like they are offering a "bonus free cover" on EPP but if you click into it page is broken at the moment. I'm going to guess 35% off plus free cover.

Placed my preorder with Samsung with the promo code. FYI, some of the bundles were oos, but you can just add the same items individually to your cart and get the same deal.

I can get to the order page, its 20%, but once I get to checkout the discount is not been applied. Will wait a while.

Its possible the discount is not applied yet as all phones in EPP are 20% off. Will wait and see. 20% off is completely pointless considering the normal offer.

Left wallet at home - suspense is killing me.

Will nab a White S22. My experiment of the past 2 years with an iPhone 11 comes to an end (god I detest apple ID).

Can confirm the F&F discount is 30%.

I enquired about the S22 Ultra, 512GB and was told the price would be $1679.30, as opposed to $2399 normally. Busy placing my order.

In my experience, the F&F discount is normally about 5% more than the EPP Offer.

So I wouldn't get my hopes up for 35% EPP offer. Still need to order another device for the wife and only allowed 1 through the F&F offer.

Will place a second order through EPP.

Have I understood this correctly, but the key differences are:

- Different configuration of the cameras
- Smaller battery
- A number '2' instead of a '1'
- Screen that can save a bit more battery by slowing down the refresh rate for static content

Feels like one of the smallest incremental changes in a while. Surely a S21 at a discounted rate is looking rather attractive?

I'm coming from S10 Snapdragon which still performs great as opposed to most of my mates who upgraded every year their Exynos versions of s10, s20, s21 etc. I had vowed not buying another Exynos so this time around being able to use the preorder deals for a Snapdragon is the main reason.

A bit dumb because I'm losing 3.5mm jack (not that I use it often), sd card slot( not using because dual sim), QHD+ screen vs FHD etc. I'm upgrading just because I want to experience the 120hz and better processor.

But yea, other than the processor, may not be much of an upgrade from s21 to s22..

With the preorder code it's about the same price plus currently getting some extras thrown in. Main reasons I'd go for this though is buying a year old phone means 1 year less of updates from your point of purchase. At $1000 4 android updates and 5 years of security should mean your purchase lasts a bit longer before needing the next upgrade. Considering how iterative updates are now though 4 years is within reach of these things if you look after them.

Based of what I can see I think Samsung has the best deal so have pulled the trigger. $200 off plus a free galaxy watch which I'm sure will resell for at least $220 - $230 otherwise a good bit of tech to keep. Plus you get a bit in reward points, I think $40 or $50 worth perhaps.
