Is it me or based on the reviews the Vivo X300 Ultra is a better phone from a camera perspective?

I see this model comes with International Warranty Service and NZ is one of the countries that can offer warranty repairs. Does this mean a phone like the X9 Ultra from Asia should therefore be fixable in NZ? Even though NZ doesn't sell this model?
A good question to raise with Oppo NZ.
And the official answer is no, as it is not a model that is released in NZ.

From the comparison reviews I've seen, the X300U's color tones seems to be more vibrant/pop, similar to how Sammy used to tune their camera, which may be more pleasing to the eye, but you'd have to live with the slightly bulkier camera island AND smaller battery.
In terms of optical zoom with the 10X, Find X9U at the moment is the one to beat I reckon.

Yes, noticeably so. Plus the custom profiles via QR code are pretty slick as well. Vivo have a better track record of camera improvements as well.
Has any1 ordered.how much nzd does it come to and what about extra cudtoms duty/tax..thx
Anyone moved ahead with a purchase? I'm leaning towards the Vivo x300 ultra
Most of the places I shared earlier in the thread are out of stock.
I did place an order thinking it was going to be shipped out from 15 May but ended up cancelling it because it was going to be delayed until 5 Jun.
Looks like Giztop still have some in stock but price have gone up.
Given some of the issue coming out about fogged lenses on the Oppo and the poor video and horrendous AI processing, definitely going with the Vivo.

I am being swayed as well. I wonder what influence the early reviewers were under. Even reputable YouTubers were saying how amazing the camera is.
In terms of the fog issue, if you Google any phone you usually find a few posts about it too so I don't think it is only an Oppo issue.

All the more recent camera comparisons show Vivo being far superior, and the custom profiles are gorgeous. My current Xiaomi 17 Ultra also seems to be superior to the Oppo, especially in low-light.
I can see some vivo x300 ultra being listed on nz sites.. funny enough prices are so different between suppliers

Gad Hub in Australia seem the cheapest. Just don't buy from the con job on TM. Selling the Chinese version for $1k more than the global version.

those vivo X300U prices on Gad Hub appears to be CN versions even though it's not clearly stated since there is no way you can get the Global version at those prices (even if they are AU$), they will be at least $2.9k

I've messaged them and they said its the HK version (which is the global versino), they've confirmed all google services are normal.
